Roll Call <br />Chairman Prokasy called the meeting to order at 8:00 pome <br />Present: Ghairman Prokasy, Vice Chairman Roberts, Secretary Tisch- <br />1er and Messrs. Rafeld, and Nee. <br />Also Present: Gity Engineer Childs and Law Director Gareau. <br />II. Review and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr. Nee corrected Oct. 26 minutes on Page 2 Item VI. second para- <br />graph to read "that the second member of the proposed Architec- <br />tural Review Board be a registered landscape architect or engin- <br />eer". Mr. Roberts moved to accept the Oct. 26 minutes as correct- <br />ed. N1r. Nee second?d and motion passed. <br />IIT. Building Department Requests - No Items <br />zV. Old Business <br />(a) Tallwood Subdivision Rezoning <br />Mr. Allen came before the Commission and asked if Commission- <br />ers had given fuxther consideration of rezoning to C1ass B <br />since matter was voted into committee at the last meeting. <br />Discussion ensued with several area reaidents again address- <br />ing the Commission. 14r°. Tischler moved to reject the Gibson <br />Tallwood request for rezoning from A to B. Mr. Rafeld sec- <br />onded and motion passed. <br />V. New Developments and 'Subdivisions <br />(a) Tallwood Subdivision - 80 ft. Class A lots - west off Root <br />Rd. south of Byron Dro <br />Mr. Al1en distributed plat drawings of Class A development <br />with entrance off Canterbury and cul de sac. Mr. Childs <br />submitted revised set of plans with 50 ft. lots -- all lots <br />presented are in conformance with Class A zoning requirements. <br />Proposal shows future possible access into recreation proper- <br />ty' west of Root Rd. Safety Director Carnahan had been con- <br />tacted and advised the Centerbury-Tallwood intersection'should <br />have flashing yellow light; same should be included in improve- <br />ment plans. After further consideration Mr. Tischler moved to <br />approve Tallmood Subdivision as revised Nov. 2with addition of <br />flashing yellow light at intersection of proposed Tallwood and <br />Canterbury Rd.
