r -• . CITY OF NORTH OLM,STED BOARD OF ZONING APPEA?,S August !t, 1976 Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Present: Chairman Ledvina, Niessrs. Hamil]., Olson and Huntington. Also Present: Building Commissioner Gundy, IJaw Dixec-tor Gareau, Recording Secre- tary Hodgins. Mr. Olson moved to approve June 2 minutes. Mr. Hamill seconded and motion passed. Chairman Ledvina stated there was no quorum for the special meeting so the meeting was not held. Continuation of hearing of James E. Smolik, 280h4 kndorra Dr., request for var- iance (1133•13). R.equest for special permission in location of proposed tool shed as required in Ord. 65-117. Case was reviewed from June 2 meeting, Mr. Smolik was administered the oath. New plans were shown and request for height variance was Vaithdrawn. Mr. Ham- il1 moved to grant variance in view of new plans submitted. Mr. Olson second- ed and motion passed. At the request of the appellant Mr. Hamill moved to continue for one meeting only the Manners Restaurant sign variance request. iUir. Olson seconded and mo- tion passed. l. Russell King,. Jr. 24393 Z.Joodmere Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Request for 5 ft. side yard variance and 1 ft. reduction minimum side yard total. Vio- lation of Ord; 62-33 Section 1161..01. .Present: Mr. King who was administered the oath. Case and appeal were read. Board members reviewed copies of the prints. 14r. King submitted letter signed by three neighbors showing no objection. Mr. Hunt- ington moved to grant the variance. NIr. Hamill seconded and mo- tion passed. . 2. Bela Radvanyi, 5907 Porter Rd. Request for vari.ance (1133.13). Request for 2 ft. variance of height for hedges. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04, Present: Mr. Radvanyi and neighbors who were administered the oath. Case was read.. There is citation for hedge height violation. Hedge is also too wide and strikes neighbors' car as it goes on driveway. There was discussion as to who is responsible for trimming hedge. Mr. Olson moved hedge be trimmed to four feet maximum height. Mr. Huntington seconded and motion passed, 34 Stanley Katcher, 5616 14hitehaven Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Re- quest for permission to add to non-conforming dwelling (28 ft. front set- back). Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1231.02. Fresent: Mr. Katcher who was administered the oath. Case and appeal were read. Plans were studzed. Dormer is to be added on north side
