City of North olmsted <br />Board of Zoning Appeals <br />March 5, 1975 <br />Chairman ledvina called the meeting to order at 7s30 p.m. <br />Presents Messrs. Ledvina, Duskey and Olson <br />Also Present: E. Gundy, Building Commissioner, M. Gareau, Law Director <br />and V. Hodgins, Recording Secretary. <br />Continuance of hearing of request of Herman Lackinger, 23559 Carriage Lane. <br />Request for varianee (1133.13)• Request for variance to add to non conform- <br />ing detached garage. , <br />Presents 14r°m Lackinger and neighbors who were administered the oath. Case <br />was read. Garden tools are to be stored in garage addition. 12 ft,. <br />x 20 ftm is to be added to existing 12 ft. x 22 ft. garage. Ap- <br />pellant was informed garage carulot be used for cor,?mercial pumposes. <br />Lot is almost 21'50 ft, deep. Fxisting garage is too close to lot <br />line. One neighbor behind is 40 ft. from lot lines Mr. Duskey <br />moved to grant variance to add to non-conforming garage. Mr. O1- <br />son seconded and motion passeda <br />le David Pasco, 23569 Greenwood Zane. Request for variance (1133.13)e Request <br />for 26 ft. rear yard variancem Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1163.01. <br />Present: Mrs. Pasco, the builder.iand Mr. Germ. Witnesses were administered <br />the oatho Case and appeal were read. Plan is to add 17 fte x 18 ft. <br />family room. No one objected to addition and variance, but Mr. Germ <br />mentioned unkempt swaleo He was told problem should be taken up taith <br />Engineering Department. Attention of Engineering Department is here- <br />by directed to swale at rear of N1r. GermAs property at 23406 Alexan- <br />der Rd. Mr. Olson moved to grant variance requested. Mr'. Duskey <br />seconded and motion passed. <br />2. John R. Ryan, 6087 Bellevue IJr. Request for variance (1133e13). Request for <br />2 ft. fence variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04. <br />Presents vlr. and Mrs. Ryan who were administered the oath. Case and appeal <br />were read. Telephone pole is on lot line. Fence is to enclose pool <br />area. After some discussion N1r. Duskey moved to grant 1 ft. fence <br />heigh-t variance as per application and p1an. Mr. Olson seconded <br />and motion passed. <br />3. Pizza Hut, 23642 Lorain Rd. Request for variance (1133013). Request for park- <br />ing variance. Violation of Ord. 62m33 Section 1212,02. <br />Present: John -W. Taylor, and Gladys Zipp who were administered the oath. Case <br />and appeal were read and plans examined. The company plans to tear <br />down existing oil station building. Lot is small for purpose intend- <br />ed. 7 ft. green strip on three sides is required and takes up park- <br />ing spaceso Suggestion was made to halve the 7 fte green strip. There <br />is tree lawn on Gessner side. Mr. Duskey moved to grant variance of <br />Reoycled Bond - One etep to eave oux environment
