109 <br />MINUTES OF A NEETING OF THE PLANNING COAqMISSION <br />OF THE V.LLLAGE OF IqORTH OI1tiISTED, OHIO HEI,D ON <br />N.IAFtCH 16, 1952. <br />The meeting was called to order by F. Hatton - Chaiaman. <br />The fol.lowing members were presente <br />F. Hatton, Oo Henninger, C. Ovi.att, M. Stentz and <br />A. Waite. ' <br />A letter dated Februapy 28, 1950 from The Misses Marie Koch and E. T. Nehrere <br />requested that their property at 6122 Stearns Road be rezoned for retail busi- <br />nessa (Exhibit A). Mz°o Waite moved and Tv1z°. Stentz seconded that the rec}uest <br />for rezaning of property at 6122 Stearns Road Por retail business be refused. <br />Yes9 Hatton, Henninger9 Oviatt, Stentz and Wait,e. <br />Mr. C. Bowen appeared before the commission concerning the gezoning of his <br />propex°ty on the northeasterly corner of Lorain and Clague Roadsm Iiis reauest <br />was tabled pencling receipt of more detailed descxiption of the property. <br />Mrss Katherine Joecken9s letter dated February 17, 1950, requesting rezoning <br />for retail business of.her property on the southeastex°ly eorraer of Lorairn <br />and Clague Roads was again read. (Fxhibit B), Request was tabled until the <br />return of Mrs. Joecken who will meet Vrlth the Planning Commission0 <br />Mr. Newhauser's letter dated February 25, 1950 was read, requesting that <br />his property at the corner of Lorain and Silverdale Roads be rezoned for <br />retail business. (Exhibit C). It was moved by 1vIr. Oviatt and seconded by <br />I4rO Henninger, that the request for rezoning of this property be refused. <br />"Yes" Hatton9 Henninger, Oviatt, Stentz, Waite. <br />Mr. Frank Schneider's letter, dated February 17, 1950 requested that his <br />prope.rty at 24435 Lorai.n Road berezoned for retail business. (Exhibit D) o <br />A motion was made by Mr. Wazte and seconded by Mre Stentz that the request <br />for rezoning for business be refusecl. "yesrr Hatton,, Henazingex°9 Oviatt' <br />Stentz and Waitem <br />Mr. A. J. Nader's ].etter of February gj, 1950 requested that his pxoperty at <br />the northeasterly corner of Lorain Road and liTest 231st Street be rezoraed for <br />retail business. (Exhibit E). It was moved by Mro Wai,te and seconded by <br />Mr. Oviatt that the request for rezoning for business be refused, "Yes" <br />Hatton, Henninger, Owi.att, Stentz and Waite. <br />Mr. W. Krewson8s lettex° dated February 25, 1950 was reade requesting that <br />Mr. Boesger's property on the norther]Yy side of Loraa.n Road at the extreme <br />easterly boundary line of the Vil3age of North 01msted by rezoned for retail <br />busi,ness. (Exhibit F) m A motion was made by NIr. Oviatt a.nd seconded ly <br />Mro Waite that the request fox° rezonirag for retail business be refusecl at <br />this time. "Yes" Hatton, Henna.nger, Ouiatt, Stentz and tiJaite. <br />NIrs. James Kilroyos letter of March 2, 1950 requested that her property on <br />the souther7.y side of Isorasn Road at the extreme eastesly boundary l.a.ne of <br />the Village of Nox°th 01msted by rezoned for retail businesse (Exhibit G).
