Lewis' E. Bittel, J. Esgaro <br />Nre Harris was absent, Building Comna.sioner Cx°ider and Law Director <br />Kitson were also px°esente <br />A lot on Gessner Road, belonging to Shirley P. Longenecker,was divided into <br />one 80' and one 126' 1ot' from the original 2061 l.ot. The lot.depth was <br />variable up to a maximirn of 240 feeto Subdivision was approved. <br />Nr. Louis Lavoie xequested approval, to change three lots on Silverdale Road, <br />having frontages of 43' to IF4' .into two lots, one 60, wide and the other <br />701 wide by about 2501 deep. Subdivision.was approved. <br />Mr. Leo Ja 1rJenzel requested subdivision of property on Lorain Road from an <br />irregul.ar shaped lot with 23904' frontage, into three lbts - tvio with frontage <br />on Lorain N.oad (95•131 and 144a251) and.the third lot with no frontage to <br />be sold to adjacent l,oit owner having Lorain Road frontageo Subdivision was <br />approved. <br />Mr. Tom Kelly presented plats of Gessner Estates Sub-division for fourteen new <br />lots on a new street, Theresa Lane (see November ].]s, 1953 minutes) for final <br />Planning Coanmission approval. The subdivision t•ras approved for submission to <br />City Council. <br />Mrs Howard Broadbent appeared to further discuss the subdivision that was <br />approved November 18, 1953• He vaished to go ahead with-installation of sewer, <br />water and streets without prior dedication of tlze streets., but have the assurance <br />that City Council acceDt the subdivision after putting in the arr?provementso <br />. He was told Council probablJ would not approve his proposal. Either a bond ? <br />or a deposit to cover oo st of improvements would bQ required prior to accep- <br />tance of the subdivision. <br />NIr. August H. Molifetin requested subdiva.sion of a lot 2$9 feet wide running <br />between Canterbury and Root Roads i.nto nine lots2 al1 of which were undersize, <br />and one lot had only 161 frontage on Canterburym He was told that at least <br />one lot would have to be eliminated and that he would have t o appear before <br />the Zoning Board of Appeals to obta.in permission for subdivision of lots of <br />width less than reouired in the zoning ordinance.. <br />Niro R. H. Ness presented plans for a 65-lot subdivision north of Lorain Road <br />and west of West.Park Drive. The proposed new street, Par1c Lane Boulevard, <br />would tie into West Park Drive and would dead end on the north. After some <br />discussion; it was agreed that a better arrangement would be to extend Park <br />Lane to Lorain Road and tie the north end of Park Lane into West Park Drive. <br />, <br />Mr. Milton Wilson (see Feb. 6, 1954 minutes) brought drawings of„proposed <br />motel at the Nehrer property. He was told that a study of drainage should <br />be made before making further plans for possible rezoninga Mr. Mathew Weidner (see April 3, 1954 minutes) brought in a plat for subdivision <br />of .four lots on Root R.oad. It was learned that the street was previously <br />dedicaced. The subdivision was approved.
