Votava, Lewisio Esgar, Euller. Mr. Bittel was abaent. <br />Building Commiasioner Crider was also present. <br />Mr. Dan Benusita appeared before the Planning Coami.ssion concerning vacating <br />16$.11 feet on the nortb end of Ranchview Avenue to permit muilding at that <br />location. A motion was made by Mr: Euller that the P]a?nning Commission recom- <br />mend to City Couricil that -the" dedicatioa of said goa-tion oY Ranchview Averaue <br />be vacated. The.motion was_ seconded by Dr. Lewia. Motion gaased. <br />Mr. Oscar_Schneider,.a._:builder, owns 265 feet of property on the xest side of <br />Lucydale..Avenue,.. He warits__to divide.the property into Yive 53pfoot lots. <br />Al1 other lots in thia area are 50 Yeet iti width. Mr. Schneider was told by <br />the Planning Comnission that since the lots would be under the size specified <br />by the zoning erdiraances he would have to obtain the approval of the Zoning <br />Board oY Appeala. <br />Mr. Elmer S. ICadadr is planning a sub-division oa the east side of Walter Road. <br />He asked if the city wou].d share the cost of gart of the sewer. He was told <br />that this is not the policof thb city. The sub-ciivision was approsred by the Planning Conmission, <br />Mr. Burdens Engiazeer for Mr. Lavoies discussed with the Planning Commission and <br />menbers of City Council listed below, the use of a sewage disposal plant suitable <br />for about 200 or more bomes. Mr. Kron, representative of Chicago Pump Company, alao <br />entered into the discussion. Council members present were Messrs. ICnapp, Baker, <br />Deckers Schwenk, I{rantere <br />Mr. Kron stated that for 200 to 256 homes., the plant cost would be about $50,000 <br />and a simi.lar cost for sewers. Iie estimated the yearly cost as follows: <br />Electricity $700.00 @ 21 per k w hr. <br />Maintenance 200.00 <br />Operator Salary $1500.00 <br />Hauling digested sludge' 125.00 <br /> <br />Meeting ad3onrned at 9:45 P.
