MIRNTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, HELD AT 8:00 P.M. <br />OCTOBER 82 1957 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Members present were Messrs. Votava, Hannan, Grwmney and Esgar, Dr. Lewis <br />was absent. <br />Mr. Samuel Joseph owns the business block on the southeast corner of <br />Lorain Road and Luc}rdale Avenue. He inquired whether it would be possible <br />to bqy the residence on Lucydale abutting his property (Lots 27 ancl 28) <br />and permit parking on the rear of the lot for those working or ogerating <br />the stores. The residence is in an AA residential district and therefore <br />said parking is contrarg to the zonirig ordinance. Mr. Joseph rras told <br />the Planning Coramission could not approve the parking in a residential <br />district, but he can take the matter up with the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />Mr. Votava stated that be has found out that the plat for Butternut Sub- <br />division No. 1, (See minutes of October 9., 1956) had been changed since <br />it was approved by both the Planni.ng Couunission and City Council. Mr. <br />Hoislbauer will therefore 1oe required to bring the revised plat back for <br />Planning Commission and Couaicil approval before futher building permits <br />will be issued. . <br />1_ Mr. George A. Steward wmote a letter to the Planning Commission concerning <br />the Mahler Subdivision (See minutes of last meeting). He stated that he <br />has bought the praperty from Mx°, & Mrs. Mahler, and intends to develop <br />the subdigision. Mr. Votava ma.de.a motion that a letter be wY°itten to <br />Mr. Stewart stating that he must appear before Council on October 15' 1957 <br />showing definite plans for completion of the subdivision or the Planraing <br />Commission approval of the Subdivision plat will be rescinded. The motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Hannon. Motion passed. <br />Planning ComuLission approved a subdigision for Angelo Mayo and Mike Braskich <br />on the south side of Esther Avenue making three (3) 45 ft. lots into two <br />(2) 67.5 ft. lots. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M. <br />?
