SPECIAL NIEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLNSTEDp HEZD AT THE CITY <br />HALL, OCTOBER 13' 1958 - 8:15 P. M. <br />Present were: Messrs. Lindsay9 Parker, :Snyder. <br />The meeting was called for the purpose of appealing permits issued to <br />John P. Patton to build on Decker Road. <br />Mr. R. W. Lockhart presented a letter dated September 30th, relative <br />to Permit #5339 issued to John P. Patton, 5516 Decker Road, sublot #434, <br />as an official notice of appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals of the <br />City of North Olmsted, regarding the issuance o_f a building permit as <br />being in violation of Article V, Section 1; Article VI, Section 6' Subsec- <br />tion 5; and Article XVI, Section 2, of the Zoning Ordinance of the City. <br />Nr. Patten also presented a letter9 dated October 2, in which he stated <br />he is not violating the ordinance, as his is an established allotment, <br />and not proposed, that the lots in question were approved and accepted <br />by the Village of North Olmsted January 3rd7 1928, <br />The Building Commissioner°s letter9 dated October 3rd} relative to permits <br />Noss 5339, 5338, and 5319, presented evidence to substantiate the issuing <br />of the permits, in accordance with a letter from the City Solicitor, dated <br />September 22nd9 indicating the permits were justified' vrith set backs shown <br />on the application form. <br />A petition was also presented, petitioning denial of any building permits <br />requested for lots having 40 or less foot frontage on Decker Avenue, unless <br />plans and specifications of the proposed construction are in compliance <br />with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of N,rth Olmsted, passed March 19, <br />1957. <br />Discussion followed, and it was suggested that Mr. Patten try to purchase <br />the property adjoining his in order to increase the frontage. Ownership <br />to Mr. Patton's prperty was questioned' and the plat books checked. It <br />FQ. was moved by Mr. K°? seconded by I?r.
