<br />I+'IINUTES OF A I?IEETING OF THF, PLANNING COI?NIISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLi?S`I?ED, HELD AT $m05 PvM. <br />APRIL g, 195$ <br />Present were NTessrs, Sipe, Gareau, Grunuzey, Barnes, and Hannan. <br />The minutes of the meeting of March 25th corrected to include Nlessrs. <br />Gareau and Barnes as present, as they ?attending the Council meeting. <br />T?ir, D. L. Johnson represented Olmsted Colony Inca, formerly Parkland <br />Estates. Couizcil turned down plea for 50 ft. streets and black asphalt <br />pavin? to comply with the new ordinance. A new plat was presented for <br />tentative approval of 165 lots for housing. The plat meets with the <br />ordinances for At1 residential areao This subdiv-ision is on the West <br />side of MacKenzie Roa,d, bordering on the North Olmsted City line. They <br />were given verbal approval on the preluni.r_ary print. <br />Mr. Kitson, Attorney for pon 3ement of L?.1a.21? Dover Road, (See letter <br />dated April 8, 195? ?s part of these minutes) representing John, <br />Harold and Josephine L?mpert, presented a plat for approval of tlie <br />division of propert? on Lorain Road. (See legal descriptions presented)0 <br />?fLr. Kitson was referred to the Building Commissioner for approvaZ to <br />sub-divide lote <br />Nr. S. Saso presented a letter to the Planning Commission for the rezoniz7g <br />of two corner lots on I,orain Road at the Southwest corner of Stearns Road. <br />The Zoning Board of Appeals referred Mr. Saso back to the Planning Commission. <br />A motion was made by T?1r. Barnes, seconded by Nir. Grumney that the corner <br />property on intersecting streets to Lorain Road be reviewed for changing <br />the ordinance to retail business of those parcels not now zoned, and the <br />distance East and West to be determined by Council, and the motion carried. <br />I?ir. Paul Riggs of Riggs Builders presented a plat for tentative approval <br />for proposed subdivision on Coltunbia Road, of the Harriet Green and Anthony <br />Janik propert?. This is an AA.A residential area and suggestions ti?rere made <br />for amproving the subdivision. ' <br />A letter from the Ohio State Departrnent of Liquor Control. Board, concerning <br />Herrr,an Kaserman for liquor permit was reado Reference is made to the <br />Zoning Ordinance, Art?cle VI7 Section 2(e) which states in part as <br />followsa "The bar, tavern or place selling spiritous beverages, shall <br />not be located closer than onemhalf mile from an existing bar, tavern <br />or place selling spiritous beverages, The property is wit,hin one-half <br />mile of another tavern, It is recommended that Council answer this <br />question. <br />A communication from P?Tr.
