MINIITES OF MEETING <br />. NOVEMBER 119 1958- <br />PAGE 2 <br />Prior to looking into this, the commission wants a written <br />description of problems associated t,rith establishing this widthe <br />Item . Engineer Kanareff, Solicitor Oviatt and Service Director <br />Barnes joined the commission and informally discussed the sewage <br />package plant located in Olmsted Tovmship. Problems associated with <br />the plant will be looked into. <br />Item 6. Krutschnitt & Lindsay9 representing K& L Builders of <br />Breezewood Subdivision, located in Olmsted Tonwship, discussed annexa- <br />tion with the commission. <br />This was an unofficial visit. They were not petitioning for <br />annexation. <br />Items brought up: <br />Description of Breezewood Subdivision: <br />Smallest lot size is 15,000 square feet. <br />Asea would contain 232 total number of homes. <br />Price range from $20'000 to $259000. <br />I,iving area 12'000 square feets <br />Outside appearances of homes are different. <br />Location of homes on lots are different. <br />Set-back staggerecl. <br />Minimum set-back is 40 feet. <br />About 12 homes are under construction at present time. <br />Streets are 60 feet wide, have concrete paving and sidewalks. <br />Maximum developed project. <br />Has storm sewers which dump into the open Fitch lateral <br />county ditch. <br />K& L Builders have package sewer plant which has a 21 inch trunk <br />line. This plant is a primary and secondary sewer plant. <br />The question was asked9 "What do you have to offer our city?" <br />The answer was' "Sewage treatment plant site." <br />K& L Builders feel tha.t the advantages of being in a city are: <br />Police and fire protection. <br />It is better to deal ti,rith city than county. <br />Should have city-type inspectione <br />If in North Olmsted, land could be broken up into smaller <br />lots thus yielding approximately 40 additional homes. <br />Motion for adjournment was made by Mr. Grumney.
