The meeting was <br /> called to order at 8:00 pem. by Chairman Sipe. Ro:Ll ca:Ll was taken. <br /> Presenta Mr. Sipe, Mrr. Grumnay, Mr. Barnes, Mayor Gareau. <br /> ? Absent: Mr. Taylor= <br /> Also attending a Solicitor Qtriatt, Engi-neer Kanareff, Building Commiss3oner <br /> Gta rd y , <br /> Pdinutes of the meeting of February 24th were read by Secre-t?ry Grumneyo <br /> Motion forapproval was made by Pllss°. Sipe and seconded by Pllayor Gaxeau. <br /> Yeas Nays Present <br /> Mr. Sipe . <br /> Mr. Grumney <br /> lQr. . Barne s . <br /> Mayor Gareau <br /> 2'he commission dispensed wi'uh the reading of the March lOth minutes. <br /> Mre John Kennedy of 25030 RainUotiv Drive appeared before the commission <br /> vrith this problem: <br /> Rainbow Drive, an undedicat ed street, is locat ed in North. Olmsted and <br /> O:Lmst ed Tovmship. <br /> Yr. Kennedy and three other families live on the North Olmsted part of <br /> Rainbow Drive. They would like to have the road dedicated but its being located <br /> in two towns presents a proUleme In as much as their taxes are paid to North. <br /> Olmsted -Ehey would ].ike to receive some services from North OYmsted. <br /> Recently a flood vras experiencod tivhich did severe damage to the roa.d. <br /> The residents feeZ they cannot rapair a.nd maintain said road any loilger. <br /> hfr. Barn.es stated that because the Lewis Road bridge is unsafe for large <br /> equipment, he cannot get his service trucks to Rainbotiv Drive without traveling <br /> on totvnship roads. <br /> Mro Oviatt, vaho is f amiliar wit h the problem, feels that RainbovJ Drive <br /> would more idea:Lly become a pa.rt of Olmsted Totmship rather than remain in <br /> 1Vort h Olmst ed . He sugge st ed t o the re sid ent s t hat t hey t a1k t o the planning <br /> commission to see if there wou7.d be any opposition to their petitioning trustees <br /> and county comm:ssioners for annexation to Olmsted Tovrnship. If there is no <br /> opposition they should then go to counCil. <br /> Mayor Gareau made a motion to recommend to council that they undertake <br /> immediato dispositioti and consideration of either having them ceeede from <br /> North Olmsted or consider annexation by North 0lmsted of a 1as°ger area. Clingman of 19780 South Sagamore, C1evel.and 26, appeared before <br /> the commission f or approval of-.a pYat dividin.g lote number 109 and 110 on <br /> Martin Drive (cornering on Jenkins) into 5 1ots. <br /> Lot s E and F on the plat meet a11 r oquiraments ._ <br /> It is the duty of the building commissioner to approve subdivision of <br /> property consisting of five lots or under. idrs Glingma.-a was advised to contac-E <br /> the building department. <br /> Mx°s Oviatt was asked to make a title seaECh on Jenkins Road.
