Lambert that hs submit a linen plat of the proposed <br />subdivision vrhich has been certified to be correct by a. licensed engineer. <br />Industrial area and apartment house discussion. <br />Nx. Some are interested in putting <br />in a junior store. He is interested in a. major storo of 250,000 square feet. <br />From the tax sta.Yidpoint getting a stn)re of 250p000 square feet (from real <br />estate and personal Droperty -bax) would probably be the lrzrgest, szngle dol:Lar <br />source of income that the city can Qbtain. <br />Having this in mind he has been working conatan-t1y to induce th.inking of <br />major chains to locate here. This site in i-mplanted in their m.i.nds, tivithout <br />commi.tment, on -. their part. . <br />Department store ovtners consider:. it an attraction to have multiple residences <br />an.d hijher type office buildings in the vicinity. They consider it on the neg- <br />ative side to have industry near by. Therefore, 'uo attract major department <br />store, it would be highly advarrtageous to have apartments on both sides, of <br />Brookpark. - <br />Ho feels that it would be to the. best interest of North 0lmsted -bo have <br />tv1o miles of frontage on Brookpark (total of T our mi.Ies - both sides) rezoned <br />for multiple drre:llings and office buildings. <br />nilhen applyino for rz loan to build apartments FiiA informed him that unless <br />zoning is changed fxom limited industry to multiple dwellings they vii12 not be <br />irrcerested in mortoages. <br />After the Ju1,y 28th:.meetirg vrith the Commission he contacted the School <br />Board as requested and has set aside tvfo sites that would be acceptab'le for <br />schools which he inri11 sell to the SchooZ Board. <br />His present pZan (this differs from Master Plan presonted July 28, 1959) <br />is to Izave 16.8 apartments per acre fronting on S-rookpark and 22 apartments <br />per acre in back. He expects to build a high type apartment building - not <br />luxury but certainly above Zow cost development. <br />Buildings are -to be o£ finished br3.ck vrith pinky aqua and yellow ename'led <br />panels and vri11 have sliding doors and porches in roar.
