OF APPEA?.S HEM AT TI3E CITY HA.LL <br />_ AUGUST 2, 1960 <br />Members Present: Edward Bqers,_William?;,Greene, Eddie Hixson, Willard Klinite <br />and Lloyd Morgan. , <br />Members A,bsent: None <br />Also Present: Ernest .7. Gundy, Bnilding Commissioner <br />The minutes of the meeting of July 5th, 1960 were approved as read. <br />The following appeals were heard; <br />1. Appellant: Joseph F. Dunn - 23884 Elm Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />This appeal was tabled at the July 5th meeting pending an interpretation <br />by the Solicitor of the Zoning Ordinance concerning fenees. In the opi.nion <br />of the Solicitor, a honse on a corner lot has two building lines, and there- <br />fore, a fence along a sideline.adjacent to a street cannot be higher than <br />30 iaches. It was moved by Mr. Kla.nite, seconded by Mr. Morgatt, the variance <br />be denied. "!Yeas" Byess, Greene, Hixson, Klinite, and Morgan. <br />2. Appellant: Thomas R. Jones - 26528 Sweetbriar Drive <br />North Olmsted, Ohio . <br />Permission was requested to build an attached garage with only 10° betcaeen <br />the garage and the lot line. This would be consistent with other garages on <br />Saeetbriar Drive. It was movsd by Mr. Morgan, seconded by Mr. Greene, the <br />varianee be approved. "Yeas" Byers, Greene, Iiixson, Klinite and Morgan. <br />3. Appellant; John D. xuck - 6086 Barton Road <br />North.Olmsted, Ohio . <br />The Zoning Board was requested to order removal of an unsightly fence <br />placed_by his neighbor along the reas lot line. Sfnce t'he Zoning Ordinance <br />does not specifq .the,:type of fence which may be erected, only the height, <br />no action could be taken by the Board. <br />4. Appellant: Dougt4as'Burns - 24252 Maria Lane <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />Permission was requested to build a garage only 3 ft. from the rear Iot <br />line so that a future addition eould be built onto tiie house with 20 ft: <br />between the addition and the garage. It was moved by Mr. Klinite, seconded <br />by Nlr. Morgan, that the appeal be denied. "Yeas" Byers, Greene, Hi.xson, <br />Klinite and Morgan,! , . <br />The meets.ng was adjourned at 9:35 P.
