i <br />Special Meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals - November 15, 1960 - Page 2 <br />It was moved by Mr. Greene and seconded by Mr. Byers that the Board members look <br />at the appellant's house on Tuesday, November 22, IgbO, at 7:15 p.m.; and later <br />adj ourn to the City Hall at 8:00 p.m. for a special meetirag to make a final <br />decision. <br />The appellant preferred to be notified by mail of the Board's decision rather than <br />atfiend the November 22 meeting. <br />The motion was unanimously approved. <br />3. Appeltant: Walter J. Kennedy - 23250 Alexander Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />The appellant requested permission to build a family room, bedroom, and satisfactory <br />roof adclition to the rear of bis house, which would bring the house 3 ft. 2 in. <br />shorfi of the minimum required distance between the house and unattached garage. <br />It was moved b_y Mr. Byers and seconded by Mr. Greene that the variance be granted. <br />The motion was unanimously approved. <br />4, Appellant: Fairview Cab Company, Joseph T. Gliva. Propietor - 23112 Lorain Road <br />_ North Olmsted, Ohio <br />The appetlant applied for permission for a two-way, steel radio tower, 50 feet <br />high and 4 ft. 7 in. from the nearest building on the same lot; and also an <br />occupancy certificate to use part of a residence for business purposes in a <br />business district. _ <br />Appearing in oppositton: Edward Holmok - 3443 West 231 Street - tdorth Olmsted, Ohio <br />Morris Harmon - 3413 West 231 Street - North Olmsted, Ohio <br />Mr. 6undy explained the history of the case to the Board, stating that Mr. Gliva <br />is. to appear for a court hearing on November 21, 1960, because he does not have <br />an occupancy certificate for the use of the property as a taxi cab dispatch station. <br />It was moved by Mr. Greene and seconded by Mr. Byers that a public hearing be <br />set for December b, 1960, at 7:30 p.m. and an opinion obtainecl from the Solicitor <br />as to the tegality of using part of a residence for business purposes in a business <br />district and also the use of West 231 Street for access to the property at <br />23112 Lorain Road.
