MINUTES OF A MEEI'ING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED - DECEMBER 13, 1960 <br />Present werea Joseph P. Kadylak, Richard Mongello, 9nthony T. LaPonza, <br />and Donald Ford. <br />Absent were: Ballard W. Vincent and Ralph Kelleya <br />Also present at the meeting were Ernest J. Gundy, Building Cammissioner; <br />and Clarenee J. Oviatt, Solieitor. <br />The meeting was called to order at 8;15 P.M„ by Chairman, Joseph P. Kadylak. <br />The minutes of the meeting of November 22i1d, 1960, were read by Mr. Mongello, <br />Secretary, and approveda <br />LYBBY-LEE CORPORATION <br />The requested changes had been made, a linen prepared and submitted to the <br />Planning Commission for approval, /011i <br />REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION <br />A communication was received relative to incraasing the dues f rom $500.00 to <br />$910.00 per yearo It was determined that this be submitted to the Council for <br />their consideratfon. It was moved by Mrm LaPonza, seconded by Mr. Ford, the <br />determination of the Council be accepted by tlie Planning Commission, "Yeas" <br />Kadylak, ZaPonza, Ford. Mr. Mongello refrained from voting. <br />9NNEXATION - OLMSTED TOWNSHIP <br />Messrs. Dansberg, Prokasy, and Gosselin, appeared before the Plann9.ng Commission <br />in behalf of the North Olmsted Chanber of Commerce, to submit a proposal for <br />the annexation of Olmsted TownShip to the City of North Olmsted, A map was <br />also presented shoiaing the recommended boundaries. The Solicitor pointed out <br />that it may be dif£ic'ult to annex the entire Township, inasmuch as Olmsted <br />Fa11s is located in the center of the Townsh?p, and that Berea had already <br />rEquested annexation of the portion adjacent to Berea. <br />A special meeting is scheduled for December 20th to meet with representatives <br />oi both communities, Council, and City Officials, <br />CENTRAL OUTBOOR ADVERTISING COMPANX <br />Permission was requested by the Central Outdoor Advertising Compan3r, 4600 <br />Carnegie Avenue9 to coanstruct a 3 s 3 x 3/16" angle to the back of the present <br />beams and attaeh a galvanized panel, 20 guage, 18" x 1016" to the angle frames. <br />The panels raould carry a vinyl plastic molding to be illuminated f rom below <br />with 500 watt amplex flood lamps. If desirable, they will landscape the <br />immediate area. <br />
