<br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Vincent.
<br />Present: Ballard W. Vincent, Leslie B. T4acs, Anthony T. LaPonza, Joseph P. Kadylak.,

<br />SAUL BISKIND?`= PROPOSED SUBDIVISION
<br />Mr. Biskind resubmitted his plan for a subdivision to the Commission for their
<br />approval. Discussion ensued relative to the street opening for this subdivision
<br />and on the recommendation of the City Engineer and the Safet,y Disector, it was
<br />moved by Mr. Macs, seconded by Mr. Vincent., to recommend to Council the dedication
<br />for the street as located on the plan before the Corruni_ssion so that Council can
<br />instruct the Law Director to make the necessary approperiations and prepare the
<br />necessar,y legislation, with proper bond assurances by NIr. Biskind, contingent on
<br />the remainder of the allotment going in as proposed,'. YEAS Macs, Vincent, Mongelloy
<br />Kadylak, Ford. P4r. ZaPonza abstained from voting. GREAT NORTHERPI BOU?EVARD PROPOSED(EXTENSION)
<br />I'•4r. Biskind also resubmitted his proposal for the extension of Great Northern Boulevard
<br />for acceptance by the Commission. Discussion ensved relative to this proposal. Mro
<br />Biskind stated that no apartmerits were proposed for the first 700 feet along this
<br />boulevard and that there would be no parking alon? that section. It would be a 36 foot
<br />street with a 20-foot planting strip down the center and approximately 11 feet for tree
<br />lawns anci sidewalks on each side. AZr. & Ntrs e Zoldes,y Tfrere interested in what i,rould
<br />happen to their property if this was acceptedm It was decided, and P4r. and Mrs.
<br />Zoldesy rrere informed, that it was between Mr. Biskind and them to come to a decision
<br />regarding their situata.on, 14r. Wilson was of the opinion that this proposed boulevar.d
<br />would relieve the traffic problem at Dover Road, give the Safety Department quicker
<br />access to those lands l,ying behind this area, and Urould be a definite safet,y feature
<br />in the area of St. Ftichard's Churcha Two one-foot blocks are to be held bl' r the
<br />developer and the Church on either side. It was moved Uy Mr. Kadylak, seconded by
<br />Mr. LaPonza, to approve this plan as being to the best interest of the City, YEAS

<br />In the course of the discussion regarding the ertension of Great Northern Blvd. proposed
<br />it was stated by Mr. Biskind that if the City could acquire the triangle of land
<br />located at the intersection of Kennedy Ridge Road and Great Northern Blvdo, proposed,
<br />that he would put in and pay for the paving of that strip also. It was moved by Mr.
<br />LaPonza, seconded by Mr. Ford, to recommend to Council that the City acquire this
<br />-triangle of land to straighten out the corner for the safet?- factors involved. YEAS
<br />LaPonza, Ford, Vincent, Macs, Mongello. 1Ir. Kadylak abstained from votingo
<br />K.ARL KEISEL PROPOSED SUBDIVISION
<br />Pir. Keisel was advised that the School Board had communicated wi_th the Planning
<br />Commission stating that the,y would like a five-foot easement on one lot so that the,y
<br />could put in a walkwayo Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and it was
<br />suggested by lZr. Schaaf that Mr. Keisel should discuss the situation with the School
