Vincent, Leslie B. Macs, Anthony T. LaPonza, Joseph P. Kadylak, <br />Richard C. Mongello9 Donalct T. Ford, and Thomas Stack. <br />Also Presents Ernest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner; Alex Kanareff, City Engineer; <br />George Schaaf, Solicitor; and James Wilson, Safet,y Director. <br />MADOW SUBDTVISIOId <br />14r. and Mrs. Stephen Simecek of vlalter Road came before the Planning Commission pro- <br />testing the location of the proposed roacl in the Madow Subdivision which will be lo- <br />cated adjacent to their property. Discussion ensued and it was recomrlended by the <br />Comrnission that A'Ir. and Mrs. Simecek should present -cheir pro:)lem to Council as the <br />Planning Commission could do nothing and see what Council would decide on the matter. <br />It was also recommended that Mr. and Mrs. Simecek contact their attorney and Mre <br />Linden and discuss the situation with them. <br />LIBBY-LEE SUBDNISiON N0. 2 <br />Mr. C. 0. Fisher presented the plat for David Drive proposed to the Commission for <br />approval of thes.:treet and lot arrangement for recording purposes only so that they <br />can proceed with the improvements in the streete It was moved by Mr. LaPonza, sec- <br />onded by Mr. Macs, tfliat upon analyzation and O.K. as to lot sizes, ownership, and <br />layout., that this p:Lat be approved for recording purposes only and passed on to <br />Council by the Cit,y Enginoer with sublot 16 being shown by the City Engineer as a <br />street opening. YEAS I,aFonza, Macs, Vincerit, nqongello, Kadvlak, Ford, Stack. <br />DEERFIELD FSTATES SUBDIVISTON <br />It was decided not to make Fawn Drive a continuation of Rose Road in this subdivision. <br />COZUMBIA ESTATES SUBDIVISI0N N0, 2 <br />H. L. Schneider and Neil Bennett came before the Commission f'or approval of the pre- <br />liminar,y plat of Columbia Estates Subdivision No. 2. Discussion ensued relative to <br />the problems and it Vras moueci by Mr. Kadylak9 seconded by 1Ira LaPonza, to approve the <br />preliminary plat for Columbia Estates Subciivision No. 2 with the recommendation that <br />he can p-roceed to come in with a f'inal plot plan, contingent that he follows through <br />with tie original plot plan upon acquiring more land andthat a T-type turnaround be <br />ehown on the plato YEAS Kadylak, LaPonza, Vincent, Macs, Mongello, Ford, Stack. <br />FRANK FURTN RCALTY <br />Mr. I{'urin came beiore the Commission with a proposal for a 9-hole golf course com- <br />prised of 41 to 43 acres on Lorain Road. Mr. F.irin has a 20 foot right-of-way into <br />tho property. As this area comes under the area which the Cornmission has recommended <br />for a mixed use district u.nder the proposed new zoning, it was recomrnended b,y Mr. <br />Kadvlak that Mr. F?a.rin wait until the f'inal reading of the new proposed zoning ord- <br />inance and after finding out the results, to return to the meetingo Tne Planning <br />Commission was of the opinion tiiat this is a good use for this land.
