These minutes are not official until approved at Planning Commission of <br />January 8, 1963. <br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED - DECEMBER 18, 1962 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:40 P.M. <br />Present: Ballard W. Vincent, Leslie B. Macs, Anthony T. LaPonza, Donald Ford, <br />Thomas Stack. <br />Absent: Joseph P. Kadylak, Richard C. Mongello. <br />Alto Present: A.lex Kanareff, City Engin.eer. <br />WALTER MAPLE SUBDIVISION (Rock Island Lumber Company - Developer) <br />Plans for the Walter Maple Subdivision proposed, located off Walter Ro.ad <br />between Gessner and Maple Ridge, and consisting of 34 sublots, were presented <br />by Mr. Kanareff. Upon the•recommendation of the City Engin.eer, it was moved <br />by Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Mr.- Ford that,this subdivision should be approved <br />=with the condition that Riock B be dedicated to the Board of Education. <br />YEAS: LaPonza, Ford, Uincent, Macs, Stack. ROSE TREE SUBDIVISION N0. 2 <br /> <br />Mr. Lombardo and Mr. St_eiger came before the Commission for reapproval of the <br />plans for Rose Tree Subdivision No. 2 as requested by Council. Di.scussion <br />ensued relative to this proposal and it was moved by Mr. LaPonza, seconded <br />by Mr. Macs, to reapprove this subdivision as it is shown on the plat (showing <br />single family dwellings, 2 family dwellings, then multlple dwellings and then <br />the retail district). YEAS LaPonza, Macs, Ford, Vincent. RAYS; Stack <br />TREE LANE SUBDIVISION N0. 2(Fred Eisenstadt - Deve?oper) <br />Mr. Kanareff presented to the C:ommission plans for a subdivision consisting of '. <br />143 lots off Lorain Road near the Coe Avenue Subdivision. Discussion ensued ,:`=s'.1'^t•?;I???r`"?`' <br />relative to this proposal and it was moved by Mr. Vincent, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, to approve this subdivi.sion with the followin.g exceptions: That <br />B1ock B be made single residential and Block A be included in the 60 ft. <br />entrahce from Lorain Road in'a divided h.i,ghway up to Sublot 83 subject to <br />engineer's curvulinear plans and to approve lesser setbacks so that Sublot <br />84 and 85 can be used as single family lots. YEASe Vincent, LaPonza, Macs, <br />Ford. NAYS: Stack. <br />MR. DiBENEDETTO - Plan B <br />Mr. DiBenedetto presented to the Commission Plan B for a subdivision consisting <br />of 5 sublots located on the corner of Maple Ridge and Walter Road, Mr. DiBenedetto <br />was advised that he would have to go before the Zoning Board of Appeals as the <br />Planning Commission could not act on this proposal because it.does not meet <br />their requirements. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
