OF NORTH.OLIUISTED - HELD APRIL 91 1963 <br />The meetzng was called to order at $:20 P.M. by chairman Ballard <br />Vincent o - Presente Ballard W. Vincent, Leslie B. Macs, Anthony T. LaPonza, and <br />Donald Ford. <br />Absent: Joseph. P. Kadylak, Thomas Stack and Richard Mongello. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. <br />SWIIvMNG POOL <br />Mr. Harvey Levy approached the Commission in regard to proposed swimming <br />pool. Discussion ensued and it was anoved by Mro LaPonza, seconded by <br />Mr. Ford, to put this into comrn3.ttee for further study. YEAS Vincent, <br />Macs, LaPonza, Ford: A comm:a.ttee of Mr. Levy, Mr. Leonard, Mr. Schaaf, <br />and Mr. Kanareff will meet viith the committee of the Planning Commission <br />for further discussa.on Saturday at 10e00 A.M. <br />MELBRO <br />? <br />Mr. Don Mellinger presented to the Commission a proposal for apartment <br />development asking for rezoning. It was moved by Yro LaPonza, seconded <br />by Mr. Macs, to put this into committee for Satuiday. YEAS LaPonza, <br />Macs, Vincent, Ford. <br />GEORGE -BELLAN <br />Mr. George Bellan and Mr. Walter Pelech appeared before the Commission. <br />The commission recommended a 60 foot dedicated street instead of a pri- <br />vate drive. The Council is rezoning the back land now. It was decided <br />to put this into comrciittee for dfLscussion and to check the drainage and <br />sewers. <br />RZEPKA APART14ENTS <br />Mra Don Smith and Mro Aazdrew Burin were present before the Commission <br />with this proposal. It was moved by Mr. Ma.cs, seconded by Mr. Ford, that <br />if the dedicated road be extended to the recreational area £or serviee to <br />all the buildings that the Commission would approve the planse YEAS Macs <br />Ford, Vincente LaPonza. <br />SWIPETNG POOL <br />Mr. Kanareff presented a plot covering the general idea of the recreation <br />area in the park. <br />W. Vancent moved, seconded by A2re Ford, that the city purchase P.P. # <br />236-45-4, known as the George and Mary Furman property and being a vacant <br />lot fronting on Fleharty, to be used as a future street opening when all <br />inter-land is developed.
