Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Commission <br />June 11, 1963 <br />_2_ <br />NfARJAK, INC,. <br />Mr. Pretzman, N1r. Nlurray and Nlr. Glazer presented a revised plot plan of <br />the proposect Pin Oak Apartment clevelopment based upon passage through the <br />City Council of an ordinance stating tha-u they aesired an easement tYirough <br />the property from Lorain to Brookpark Road for which purpose they have set <br />aside the 35 feet and laid out their apartments accord:ingly. Th'zs pTat <br />showed the easement. Discussion ensuea relative to this proposal=and it <br />was moved bp Mro Macs, seeonded by Mra LaPonza, to approve this-plat as to <br />road purposes and the plot plaa1 and that the proposeC 3-year ea5ement be <br />held and a performance bond be posted anei reserved that if any development <br />occurs to the i°Iest that they ivould complete the roac?way as proposed. and an <br />adc;itianal 72 par':ing spaces Urou.ld be required to be furnished at that time <br />YEAS Macs, LaPonza, Ford, Mongello, Vincent. <br />BOOTS CONSTRUCTION GOMPANY" - - - <br />Mr. Mongello presentecl each member of the Commission with a plan fo-r- a pro- <br />posal to be pvt into committee for further stuclg e It ti,aas moved by <br />Vincent, seconded bp Mr: Ford, to put this into committee. It A ll be considered by the Commission. <br />R.ECREATIONAL AREAS <br />Mra Kronin, representing the Jaycees, wa.s present at the meeting anci <br />gave their views on the proposed recreational sites. Mra Ford also re- <br />ported to the Commission what haa taken place at the Jaycee meeting that <br />he attended in relation to tha.s. Statements were mac?e that there should <br />be approximately 5 areas of about 5 acres each and general areas weie <br />pointed out not definite parcels of laiicl. This wi1.l be further stuclied at <br />a follow-up meeting.
