Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Commission <br />September 10, 1963 <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RZEPKA APARTMENTS <br />This plan was re-presented to the Commission for consideration. Discussion ensued and <br />it was moved by Mr. Ford, seconded by Mr. Kadylak, based upon the fact that the de- <br />veloper has met all of the requirements and revisions requested by the Commission, <br />that this proposed plot plan be accepted as presented at this meeting. YEAS Ford, <br />Kadylak, LaPonza, Vincent, Macs. 1Mr. Mongello abstained from voting. <br />CI TY LI NE, I NC. <br />Mr. Joe Lombardo presented a preliminary plan of 22 sublots located off Clague Road <br />totthe Commission for consideration. It was moved by Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Mr. <br />Macs, that this proposed plat be approved contingent upon the presentation of another <br />plan with a rough layout for the disposal of the remainder of the land. YEAS <br />LaPonza, Macs, Mongello, Ford, Vincent, Kadylak. <br />PHILIP C. ENGOGLIA <br />Mr. Engoglia was present before the Commission in regard to his proposed high rise <br />development on Lorain Road. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and it was <br />unanimously decided that there should be a joint meeting with the sewer committee of <br />Council, the Mayor, the Law Director, and other city officials to further discuss <br />the sewer problem in this area. <br />Nf1RTH PARK <br />Mr. Andreano presented a corrected plot of this proposed subdivision which had pre- <br />viously been approved to the Commission for their consideration showing 70 foot lots <br />instead of 80 foot lots as previously shown. This would add approximately. 6 lots to <br />the subdivision. It was moved by Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Mr. Ford, to approve this <br />plat as presented. YEAS LaPonza, Ford, Macs, Mongello, Vincent, Kadylak. <br />Improvement plans for this proposed subdivision were also submitted for consideration <br />by the Commission including the offisite improvement drawings as per former request <br />of the Commission. Upon recommendation of the City Engineer, it was moved by Mr. <br />Macs, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, to approve these improvement pd?ans as presented. YEAS <br />Macs, LaPonza, Ford, Mongello, Vincent, Kadylak. <br />MELBRO, INC. - See minutes of April 9, 1963• <br />Mr. Mellinger was again present before the Commission in regard to the former <br />Haettich parael, 4651 Clague Road. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal for <br />an extension of zoning for multiple dwelling and it was moved by Mr. Macs, seconded <br />by Mr. l4adylak, that, this being a bordering lot facing Parkview Village, the Planning <br />Commission recommends a continuation of multiple zoning to the end of the Northerly lot <br />line and fronting on Clague Road. The Planning Commission recommendation is based?on <br />the fact that the City would realize more tax value with multiple residence than the <br />existing single residence ,lot as it now is. YEAS Macs, Kadylak, LaPonza, Mongello, <br />Ford, Vincent. <br />PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL AREA <br />Mr. Kanareff presented several rough plans to the Commission for the proposed industrial <br />area at the West end of North Olmsted for study by them. They showed a sewerage treat- <br />ment plant to be located on the Olmsted Township Line with the water connection in <br />Lorain Road. Discussion ensued relative to these plans and the matter was placed into <br />committee for further study.
