Gundy, Building Canunissioner, for <br />the folloziing reasons: <br />Violatioiz of Ord. #63-°4, Section 1157v0l ? iqi-nimum Width and A,rea in Residence DistrictQ <br />ti7iolation of Qrd. #62-33, Section 1153P05 - Livabl.e Floor Axea ir_ Mul.tip].e Res, District. <br />1{.ppellant wa.s so advised by letter da-ted December 30, 1963 by Nire Gur_dym <br />Attorney for appellant did not ask that this be revie-ged by Council, but -rgantecl the <br />16 Boardts interpretation of the term 'lIqotor Hotel." Appellant felt this request for <br />perrnit tiaas no different than request for a Motor Hote1 permit previously granted him, <br />which buildings were the same as planned for the above. <br />Nir. Gundy., Building Commissioiier, had not issued a permit for same as he felt the <br />proposed buiZdings we?°e ttapartments1t9 and, as such, were in violation of the afore- <br />mentioned ordinancesv <br />Interpretation by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the term ttP•Zotor Hotel" is as <br />f olloti,rs o <br />The Board feel.s that this is a similar case as the one covered in the mir_utes <br />of January 83 1963, Item l, and the same requirements are applicablem <br />Quote from the January 8p 1963 minuteso <br />"The Board has s-tudied all pertinent paragraphs of Zoniaig Qrd. 62-33 <br />passed June 193 1962 and conclud.es that inasmuch as apartments will have <br />no leasing provisions, building conforms to tlae ordinance as listec3 <br />under I ote1.11, "Hotel .Apartment", or tiHotell'' pa.ges 9 and 11P It is the <br />Boardt s opinion that the building can be properly cal.led "Motor-Notel'B or <br />"Apartmer_t-Hoteli,.
