T <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of Planning Commission <br />November 10, 1964 -2_ <br />was moved by Mr. Musial, seconded by Mr. Ford, to disapprove the request for rezoning. <br />YEAS Ford, Vincent, Prokasy, Musial, LJ?o nz? <br />NOS Macs <br />LAKE CITY LAND COMPANY <br />I.t was reported by the city Engineer that he had approved this plan and it will now <br />be forwarded to Council as the Commisslon had previously approved this proposal at <br />their last meeteng contingent upon fihe approval of the Engineer, <br />SANDY RIDGE SUBDIVISION <br />7'he committee reported that the main objection to this proposed development was the <br />number of accesses and also reported that the School Board only wanted a walkway <br />into the school pr°operty. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and a <br />meeting was set up for Thursday night at 7:30 P.M. with members of the Commission, <br />School Board, Mr. DiBenedetto and other interested parties, <br />Mr. DiBenedetto also requested the Secretary to get preliminary plans for the <br />high rise presented by C& M Corp, <br />BAUER APARTMENT REZ.ONING PROPOSAL <br />No action was taken on this matter at this meeting and it was left in committee <br />for further study with the Safety-Service Director, <br />??te ff E s ; & r4s <br />BEVERLY HILLS SUBDIVISION N0, 2 <br />Upon consideration, Mr. Bauer was advised that he would have to come back before the <br />Commission with a letter of approval from the Township. .?-CA, <br />,? `i b , <br />?EAT NORTHERN WA7ER MAIN EXT'ENSION <br />Mr, Kanareff, on behalf of Mr. Biskind and Mr. Shur, presented an amendment to the <br />Great Northern Water Main extension and asked for approval of this as revised in red. <br />Discussion ensued relative to this proposed relocation of the water main easement <br />and it was moved by Mr. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Ford, to approve this proposed <br />relocation as revised in red subJect to the approval of the City Engineer. YEAS <br />Vincent, Ford, LaPonza, Macs, Prokasy, Musialo <br />Mr. Musial made the following suggestions in regard to rules and r°egulations for <br />the Commission: <br />l, Requic°e an unflexible agenda to be set up 1 week before each meeting. <br />2e Have an architectural board of reviewa <br />Discussion ensued relative to these proposalse <br />LEWIS ESTATES INC, <br />Mr, Andy Burin, on behalf of Lewis Estates, Inc,, came before the Commission with a <br />proposal for a 128 suite apartment development on Lorain Road for the former Dr. <br />Lewis parcel, This would extend back to Mill Road and would cover an area of 6.68 <br />acres with a total of 180 car parking. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal <br />and it was moved by Mr. Ford, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, to put this into committee <br />and turn it over to the City Engiraeer for a dr°ainage and sanitary sewer study with
