<br />a tleavily traveled roadway creates a hazard to public safety,
<br />b.) that striP zonin.p should be eliminated in favor of consoli-
<br />dated clistricts which can be better arran.gcd IL-o provide off-
<br />street parking,
<br />c.) tha.t neighborhood commercial centers should be developed at
<br />strategic locations -re7_evant to the areas they are intend.ed
<br />to serve,
<br />d.) that such centers should be located from one to tG•ao miles
<br />apart, preferably at or near the intersec'cion o£ major

<br />In cons ideration oi the af oremen.tioned it is the opinion oi the committee
<br />that ttze pr. esent zoning a1ong Lo-rain Road is undesireable and inconsistent
<br />v,rith the hereinabove statecl phiLosop'ny.
<br />It was raoved by Musial, seccinded by Fabelz, that Lorain Road, both North
<br />and South fram the Fairview City line to Clague I'?,oad curren-t1y zoned
<br />retail business, general Ue rezoned to multiple residence. YEAS rabek,

<br />It was moved by Nlusial, seconded by Prokasy, that Lorain Road from
<br />Columbia Road to Root Road on the North and Columbia P.oad to the Easterly
<br />line of the Great Northern B1fid. Proposed pro jected to Lorain Road on
<br />the South currently zoned retail buszness, general be rezoned to multiple
