Chairman James Prokasy <br />came 1ate. <br />Absent: Jack Lsgar and Anthony T. LaFonza. <br />Also Present: Richard Labas, City Engineer; Bruce Kitchen, Law <br />Director. <br />The minutes of the meeting of April 13 were read by acting secretary <br />Musial and corrected as fo11ows: <br />Page 2- Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 2- line 3- insert after <br />Institute "Bulletin No. 50" <br />I'age 1 - Insert re 701 Grant - after Fabelc - insert ?to indicate <br />to Council that the Planning Commission is in favor of a master <br />plan and also" <br />Page 2- Last Fark Subdivision - line 3- changelplant to 'plat' <br />A1so add "Improvement plans were referred to the Law Director". <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />The minuzes of the special meeting were held until the neAt meeting. <br />PARK P.IDGE CIVIC ASSOCIATION <br />Discussion ensta.ed relative to this proposal for a new decorative sign. <br />It was moved by AZr. Nha.sial, seconded by Mr. Spalding, to accept the <br />Parlc Ridge Civic Association sign and to approve this as presented <br />contingent on it conf_orming to al1 applicable zoning req2a.irements. <br />YLAS Musial, Spalc'Ling, Prolcasy, Ford, Fabek. <br />GP.EAT NORT!-iLRN BQULEVAP.D STREET PLANS <br />Improvement plans were presented sl?o«ing a 4 lane highway, 55 f eet wide <br />to }3rookrark Road and then to increase to 62 feet and be divided be- <br />tween }3rookpark and Lorain. These included complete sanitary and <br />storm clrawings, water main, paving, and concrete sidewalzzs. Discussion <br />ensued and it was moved by A7r. Prolcasy, seconded bST Mr. Fabek, to <br />acceTt these plans as presented by the City ingineer and recommend the <br />same to Council. YEAS Prokasy, Fabek, SPaldin` , i?:ii?.sia1, Fo-rd. <br />A comMUnication was read from the C1erk o= Council enclosing copies of <br />Ordinances 65-64, change in platting ordinanee to show 7 prelimina-ries; <br />65-65, retail zoning fior Great Northern Blvd. Propased; and 65-73, an <br />increase in liveable floor space; which were amended. <br />It was moved by Mr. Spalding, seconded by Mr. Prokasy, to accept the <br />cl-a.nges in Ordinance 65-64 as recommended by Council. YEAS Spalding, <br />Prokasy, Ford, Fabek, Musial. It xqas moved by Mr. Prokasy, seconded <br />by Mr. Nlusial, to accept Ordinance 65-65 regarding Great Northern <br />31vd. and to include the increased depth in zoning of 60 ieet on the <br />Easterly side.
