Ed Biddle was <br />read regarding t'ne proposed high rise zoning in North 0lmsted a?d <br />enclosing articles from the Wa11 Street Journal. <br />A report Was received f_rom the Turnpike Commissi_on. <br />An invitation was received from the Clevela.nd Automobile C1ub inviting <br />a11 members of the Commission to a movie regarding Traffic in Town <br />which is scheduled for showing Tuesday, July 27, and Wednesday, July <br />28 at the C1eveland Automobile Club. <br />A communication was read from A1ex ICanai eff and Associates stating <br />-that the apnroval of the plat for Rolling Acres Subdivision had expired <br />and he would like to resubmit the preliminary. T}.zis wi11 be studied at <br />-the next meeting. <br />A communication was read from Nlichael Scanlon, Attorney at Law, <br />enclosing a list of residents present at the mceting oi Ju1y 13 and in <br />opposi_tion to the proposed rezoning of Lorain P.oad. This included 27 <br />s igna.tures . <br />COMYiITTEE REPORTS <br />In regard to the proposed Lorain Road rezoning the committee of Piusial <br />and Fabelc made the following report: <br />"By minutes of Council meeting dated Ju1y G, 1965, a request vaas <br />made of tle Flanning Commission that a survey be made of a11 the <br />groF,erty owners who would be affected by certain changes in zoning <br />a_.long Lorain Road. Mr. Fabek and Ir. rlusial E-aere appointed by <br />Acting Chairman of the Planning Commission to supply Council with <br />such info-rmation. Upon reflection we consider this reqLest to be <br />a monumenta1 task--one that cannot- be satisfactorily accomplished <br />in two montl2s, 1et alone tiao weelcs.
