He said his lot is 563 ftm in deptho <br />Mr. Greene read from the minutes of the Board of Building Code lippeals of <br />June 28' 1966, in which they gave permission to move the house if the set- <br />back and sideline restrictions are met, landscaping i-a and house completsd <br />within six mon-ths from the date oi p°rmit, subject to the T,aw Aaxectoras <br />approval on the setback requirement. He then read a letter from Ivirs Kitchen, <br />Lazr Director, in Vrha.ch he statecl TlLr. S teer would have to comply tiJith the <br />maximum setback according to Section 1159o01 of the Boning Qrdinance (70 ftm) <br />un].ess a variance could be obtained from the Board of Zoning Appeals to set <br />the home 150 ft, backm <br />Neighbors present were Mra and 11Irs, Paul Buckland, N1rs. Grossman and Mrs. <br />Doolattle. ilr. Buck].and, whose housa is adjacent to the east, objected to <br />the request for variance, He thought the home shoul.d be placed in line with <br />others, I?`?rse Grossman was of the same opinion, kZre Buckland thought his <br />house was a li.ttle more than 70 ft, from the street and Mrs. Grossman said <br />hers was approximatel.y 100 ft. back, Mrs, 11hoiittie9 who lives across street, <br />felt the Steer horo shauld be lined up with othersm Mrs. Grossman stated that <br />Mr. Witt at 29975 Lorain9 was unable to attend but Lold her he felt placement <br />of home should confoxmo <br />DZrs Scheeff said he felt that if homes were allowed to be placedback 150 ft., <br />this would lead up to places of business being in front oi the homes. <br />He made a motion ti7at the reques-t for variance be disapproved and recommended <br />that the house be plaeed in line with existing dwellan.gs. Second by TJIr. Byerso <br />Motion passed. <br />? The Board recammends that 'Uhe house be pl.aced in line with the Buckland and <br />Grossman homes, regardless of setback of present homes.
