Wi17_iam Greene, C'ha.irman. <br />Members Present: Mrs. Eian, Messrs. Greene, Rober-ts, Byers <br />Also Present: Mr. Gundy, Building Coni*nissioner <br />The minutes of the June 7. 1967 meeting were approved as written. <br />1. Appellant: Wm. Rinyu & Co., 3657 ttiTest 117th Street, Cleve]_and. RP.qUP..St <br />to build a dwelling on S/L $ Ma.ple Ridge Road. Varia.nce <br />of 1.391 rear yard and 5t side ,yard reauested. <br />In violation of Ordina,nce P62-33, Section 1163.01 whicn <br />requires a 501 rear ,yard and Section 1161.0I which reduires <br />that the sum of the tt•ro cides shall be not less than 201. <br />Present: Mr. Rinyu, Mr. Ard.elean9 hiro Kushner, Mr. Knechtl.e. <br />Chairman announced that Mr. Frick of the 1%1iu. Frick Bldg. Coo had ca_lled ana <br />said that he had no objection to the renuest. i+?eighbors present st?ted no <br />objection. Mrs. Eian questioned sauare footage of house plans nresented <br />and'determined that by making the hozne deeper, it wota?.d meet with the <br />minimum requirements. This would necessitate a. 31 rea.r va.rd va.riance . <br />Mr. Rinsu agreed to the increase in house size. Motion waG macle by Mx. <br />Roberts to grant a 31 rear yard varia.nce and a 51 side ,ya.rd variance; <br />seconded by Mrs. Eian and passed. <br />2. 4ppellant: Zdm. Rinvu & Coa, 3657 West I17th Ftreet, Clevei_a.na. Peauest, <br />to build a dwelling on S/L 9 Ma,ple Ricige Foa.d. V.a.ri.ance <br />requested as above. <br />Variance granted under same conditions a.s above case. <br />3. Appellant: George Knechtle:;' 23870 F°rank Street. Reauest, to.ad6 to <br />a.n existing non-conforming detached garage Ioca.ted two feet <br />from the rear propert,y lineo <br />In viola.tion of Ordinance -?'62-33, Section I151.04 which <br />requires that a private garage be a dista.nce of five feet <br />from any property ]_ine. <br />Present: Mr. Knechtle and Counrilwoman Virginia Hodgins. <br />Mr. Knecht'le stated that he has a single garage and sing_l_e wi(?th dr:ivewa.y <br />a.nd that there is no parking permitted in front of the house. His son is <br />due to come hoae from the service which will mea.n there will be three ears <br />at -the house. Virginia Hodgins sta.ted that this would be a hardship for <br />the family. Mrs. Eian moved that a 31 variance be F-rranted to er.able Mr. <br />Knechtle to extend his non-conforming gara.ge to a d.oubZe ga.rage; seconc?ed <br />b,y Mr. Roberts and passed.
