Page 3- Zoning Board Minutes - May 3, 1967 <br />8, Appellant: Herbert A. James, 24088 Fairlawn Drive, N. Olmsted, 0. <br />Request to build a fence higher than 30" around front <br />line of property. <br />Violation of Zoning Ordinance #1151.04 (H), fence not <br />to exceed 30" in height from the building line to the <br />street line and on the street line. <br />lhe sidewalk to Maple School rvns through Mrs James Property. The <br />children using this walk cut the corner instead of staying on the <br />sidewalk. By cutting acrosss his yard, they have broken shrubs and <br />trees and ruined his lawn. He is trying to keep his yard neat and <br />attractive and feels a fence will help. He plans to put a tuTo-rail <br />split-rail fence across the front of his property a.nd down tre sid.e <br />adjacent to tre sid.ewalk. The two-rail fence is 36" hig.h, therefore, <br />a six inch variance is requested. <br />Mr. Nelson moved that a 6" variance be Franted to permit a 36" high <br />fence to be built across front property line and side lines f'rom house <br />to streete Mr. Byers seconded the motion.
