Mr. Davis moved to <br />put the proposal into a committee of the whole; seconded by r7re Richards <br />and unanimously passed. <br />ecun??? C'/u( QecL/evurcd <br />(d) IKr, Ransbury sta,ted that the developers <br />vish `,o change tha ::a:.ae of existing area knowrl as Great Northern <br />Boul,n•:?.rd to Country Club Boulevard due to confusion with new relocated <br />252 wh'_ -.1? is also known as Great Plortriern Boulevarde Plans were <br />studied., Mr. Leonard moved that the area south to Kennedy R.idge from <br />a point on Lorain Road immediately across from Canterbury Road should <br />be named Ca.nterbury Road. Mr. P?elson seconded the motion. Unanimously <br />passed, Mr. Leonard movecZ to change Great Northern Boulevard from <br />recommended CanterLury to relocated 252 to Cvuntry C1.ub Boulevard. <br />NTr. Nelson seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />(e) 7oodm.ere Drive Access Ualk to Recreation Area - Mr. Ra,nsbury stated <br />that the HomeoFmers Association in this area has requested that the <br />City obtain an easement Llor a sidewalk to serve as access to the <br />recreation area,. Accesses are now off Beaumont Drive and Gessner Road. <br />It was decided that the two propert,y owners directly involved who <br />would be aslced to grant easements should either come in or send written <br />st,?-,.tements regarding their feelings on this matter. Mr. Leonard moved <br />to put the proposal into committee; seconded by Mr. Davis and.unanimously <br />passed. <br />T. Communications <br />(a) Letter from Mayor reo ?-Talkaver bridge on T 4g0, The Planning Commission <br />agrees that the 'Hayor should pursue the possibility but not at the <br />Cit,y's expense. <br />(b) Letter from ti4r. Geiser re: CEI -.pnroval <br />(c) Letter from Shef7ield Lake Planning Commission <br />(d) Letter from City Me.nagement Corporation with nuestionnaire <br />VII. Committee Renorts <br />Mr. Davis stated that 12e z.ttended the CIC meeting where 2 HGM people spoke. <br />VIII. ATew Business <br />(a) TertiarY Treatment Facilities - Plr, Pansbury presented final plan for <br />the waste treatment plant and stated that all public improvement plans <br />must be approved by the Planning Corimission. The plan meets a1I <br />engineering requirements. Mr. Leonard moved to approve the plan as <br />presented; seconded by Nir. Davis and unanimously passed. , <br />IX. Adjournment <br />Mr. Davis moved to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Mr. Richards and un- <br />a.nimously passed.
