Ledvina, James Davis, <br />Leonard. Absento Edward Byers, Richard. Nelson, <br />presente Mr. Fa.nsbury, Assistant to Acting City <br />Secretary. <br />Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Chairman Donald Ledvina. <br />Kurt Richards, James <br />J. Ed.ward Brewer. A1so <br />Engineer; Sally Henkle, <br />Regarding the minutes of the 3/23/71 meeting, it was decided that under <br />I2T. (a) last Iine the word "residentia?" should be inserted before the <br />word "rear". Mr. ?,eonard moved to dispense with the read.ing of the <br />minutes of the 3/23/71 meeting and to approve as corrected; secondeci by <br />Mr. Davis and unanimousl,y passed. <br />Building Department Reauests <br />(a) Mr. Gundy presented pl.ans for a beverage store at recorded only <br />I?iest 308 and Lor.&in. DiscUSSion was held regard.ing pa.rking and <br />Mr. Richards moved to reject the proposal on the basis of inadequate <br />planning; seconded by Mr. Leonard and unanimously passed. <br />(b) 7- lI Store - Mr. Gundy stated that the street opening coming out <br />onto Bprkshire would be directly onnosite the gas station street <br />opening. Mr. Leonard stated he had met with members of the Z-;rest <br />Park - Forest Ridge Homeowners Association and that while they have <br />no objeetion to a com??nercial enterprise on the lot in question, they <br />do feel that there should be no street oDenings onto Berkshire and <br />do not feel the mediun strip should be cut. Discussion was held. <br />Mro Leona.rd moved to reject the proposal for reasons of poor <br />,-)l^nning; secondecl. Uy Mr. Richards a.nd unanimously Passed. Mr. <br />Gall,,gher renuested the return of his plans and removed same from <br />the records of the Planning Cflr.miission, <br />Ifl. Old Business <br />(a) Sand.y Ri(9ge Subdivision rf9 - 10 - 11 - P•Ir. Ransbury presented revised <br />plans and stated tha.t the rronosal now consists of 165 Iots. It <br />was pointed out that there had been no written com.*nunication from <br />the Law Director and that nl.ans could not be arproved conditionally. <br />Discussion was held. Mr. Davis moved to keep the proposal in committee9 <br />seconded by Mr. R.ichards a.nd unanimously passed. <br />(b) Diversified Investors Rezoning - A copy of a letter from Mr. Ransbury <br />to the deve3.oper was reacl regarding a previous subdivision of the <br />lot in ctuestion without the formal approval of the City. The developer <br />stated that this matter is heing taken care of. Mr. Ransbury presented <br />a revised plan recruesting rezoning of parcel from commercial to <br />High R.ise - A. The parcel is located immediately t•rest of Sherwin <br />Williams between Lorain and Mill Roads. Mr. Richards moved to approve <br />the rer.uest; seconded by Mr. Davis and una.nimously passed.
