Edward Brewer, Mr. Davis moved <br />to excuse Mr. Brewerg seconded by Mr. Nelson and unanimously na.ssed, Also <br />presento 14r. Byers and unanimously <br />passed.. <br />Building Department Renuests <br />(a) Bartel 's Bevera.ge 5tore - ?-tr, Gur.dy nr•esented a revised nlan for the <br />proposed store a.t ?'est 308tn and Loxaino The parking 1ay-out meets <br />aIl cocle recui.rements. Mr. Nelson moved. to approve as submitted; <br />seconded by NIr. B;rers ancl unanil~nously passed.. <br />(b) Temporary Sign Or-dinance - 1,Ir. Gundy sta.ted that the law firm of <br />Geisser and. Cutler have dra-fted a proposed ordinance on temporary <br />signs. There is rresently nothi.ng in the arctinance cavering them. <br />Discussion was he1d. It wa.s decided trat this is n.n administrative <br />matter and that the Law DeDart,ment should be re;nresented. The <br />secreta.rSr was instrtzcted +o send a letter to the City Law Director <br />reouecti-ng 'Uhat he attend the next meeting. Mr. Gundy will send copies <br />of the proposed ordinance to a11 members rrior to th.e meeting and <br />will tell Mr. Geisser and Mr. Cutler tha-t they may attend the meeting <br />on 5/25/71 if they so desire. <br />IV, Old Btlsiness <br />(a) S<?ndy R.idge Subdivision ??9-10-11 - Mr. DiBenedetto presented a revised <br />nlan wizich now shows a street cutting through from Dover Center to <br />Porter Road, The proposal fa11s short by l,./b acres on the recreation <br />lar_d to be don2.ted to the City and 14r, DiBeneetetto stated that a <br />donation of A15,180 would be made which would cover this amount of land <br />figured at a cost of ?.,.3300 per acre. Discussion was held and members <br />aslced if a. written ot?inion had been received from the Law Director. <br />No written opin`ion has been received but Mr. Ledvina stated that he <br />ta7_ked to him and that this has been done before. Mr. Nelson stated <br />that he feels this is defeating the purrose of the ordinance. Furthur <br />di5cussion was held. Mr. Leonard moved to accept the proposal with <br />the contention that a priva'te a.nupraiser be retainecl by the developer <br />to ascer-tain the average nrice of land in North Olmsted with cost of <br />the land to be determined in this way and with any monies received <br />being nut into the general fund for capital improvements in the c;t/ <br />recreation areaia Mr. Nelson seconded the motion. Motion passed with <br />Mr. Ledvina voting no.
