Mr. Leonard moved tv approve <br />rezoning 3 lots at NE corner of Brookpark and Col.umbia to Loca1 Business; <br />seconded by Mr. Da.vis and passed with Mr. Ledvina voting no. <br />(c) Temporarv Sign Orclina.nce - Mr. Cutler appea.red representing various <br />Lorain Road merchants and explained that since there is no provision <br />in the ord.inance for temporary signs, a problem has been created. <br />Discussion wa.s held rr-garding a proposed ordinance in this regard. <br />Mr. Davis moved to appoint a committee of two to work with the Law <br />Director to iniate an orclinance on temporary signs9 seconded by Mr. <br />Leonard and unanimously passed. Mr. Davis and Mr. Leonard will. work <br />with the Zaw Director. <br />V. ATew Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Cottonwood Trail `,3 - Mr. Ransbury presented plans to snlit one lot <br />into two lots between Porter Road a.n.d Dogwood. He explained tha,t the <br />change is already recorded downto-vm but never went through the proper <br />cha,nnels in the City. Everything con£orms with our ordinances. Mr. <br />Davis moved to approve; seconded by Mr. ByerS and unanimously passed. <br />(b) Dufala Subdivision - Mr. Ransbury presented plans for a subd.ivision of <br />one lot into two on Ranchview Drive. The lots both conform vrith <br />the ordinance. Mr. Richards moved to approvey seconded by I4r. Byers <br />and unanimously passed. <br />(c) Olmview Manor Rezoning Recuest - Mx. Krause and Mr. Buehler presented <br />plans for an apartment for elderly persons proposed for an area E. of <br />Ranchview or_ Lorain R.cad. Rezoning from "B" Residential and Cor.lmercial <br />to Class "All High Rise is requested. It was pointed out that the <br />proposal doesn't conform on apartment sizes because need.s of the <br />elderly do not co-incide t-rith our ordinance requirements. No ordinance <br />woulcl.presently cover this proposal and the Planning Commission could <br />not a?oprove the request for this reason. Discussion was held a.nd <br />itwas decided that the reauest should be put into the Pub].ic Housing <br />Committee for study and Mr. Buehler will work with the committee. <br />Mr. Byers moved to put the reauest in the Public Housing Committee; <br />secanded by Mr. Davis and unanimously passed. <br />VI. Communications - ATone <br />VII. Committee Reports - Mr. Ledvina announced that he will attend a meeting on <br />Public Housing on 6/2 at St. Brendan's Church. <br />VITI. New Busi.ness <br />Ordinance fl71-60 - Mr, Ransbury explained that this is the Great Northern <br />Partnership Rezoning from "B" Residence to Mixed-Use approved by the <br />Planning Commission on 3/9/71e The proposed ordinance agrees with the <br />p1an approved. Mr. Davis moved to ap prove Ordinance Tr71-60; seconded by <br />Mr. Richards and iinanimously passed. <br />Hospit^1 Gite - Mr. Prokasy presented the proposed site plan for hospital <br />on Barton Road.
