Mr. Scheef reviewed presentation made at
last meeting by Mr. Dave Margolius (Richard's father) and his architect. Mr.
Scheef had visited the site and iound unoccupied garages and some being used
for storzge. He had also visited another apartment complex in another suburb
taith open shEd type garages and found them unattractive. Mr. Scheef suggests
this case be taken b ack to Planning Commission. Perhaps the ordinance should
be reviewed. Jamestown presently is attractive. 14r. Scheef wonders if gar-
ages could be elimin2ted instead of going to the shed type garages. He does
not want them left open in North Olmsted. $10.00 per month per car port goes
along with the rent. Mr. Gundy said permitting garages to be used for storage
is violation of fix e ordinance as well as zoning ordinance. Mr. Scheef said
rubbish is being stored in at least two garages. Mr. Scheef made a motion
tha.t request be denied Vaith the sugge5tion the owner reappear before Planning
Commission. Mr. Roberts seconded and the motion passed.
5. Glenn M. Limpert, L282 Clague Rd. Continuance of request for
variance 1133013) Request to inake alteration of garage of-
fice building detached from existing residential home on his
lot to include A apartment'type living quarters. Violation
of OZ'Ue 62-33 5cction 1151-01•
Present: tvlr°a and Mrs. Limpert, R.obert Kall and Jack Farmer
Witnesses were administered the oath. Nir. Scheef stated the case is continued
because of divergence of opinion and board members warited to do on site inspec-
tion. Mr. Krowiak's house is for sale. Mr; Roberts had visited the site. Neigh-
bor does not object to Mr. Limpert's son living there, but what happens if new
owners come? N1r. Scheef said old buildings are being improved and that Mr.Limp-
ert is doing business on the site. There are two houses, tile pipes end of
trencher are in alcove with bus; outside of that there is good land.scaping in
front and back. There are living quarters in second building. Building per-
mits shoul:d be secured. Second building has been used for apartment for a
long time. It must be used by direct member of family. Stipulation musi; be
made that property must be used as one piece. 14r. Scheef said on thai: basis
that the owner secure approval from Building nepartment and have inspection
and that it be used with u nderstanding it is in no way a second residence;
it cannot be soYd as income property - only one family he would move to grant
the variance. Mrm Roberts seconded the motion adding adequate shielding of
tile and business equipment, 4 ft. basket weave fence running west, should be
installed. Motion passed unanimously.
6.
