Their request is for extending general retail business zoning from 500 ft to 890 f'te varyino to 1210 ft. for a width of 8L0 ft. Engineer- ing regarding drainage has been studied. There will be 11 to 12 small service t,ype stores plus supermarket9 buffer zones of 45-50 ft. on both sides protecting residents; boulevard en- trance from I,orain Rd.9 large sign to be requested for median strip9 cost to be <n2.,500,000. N'?r. Ledvina moved that the pro- posal be placed into a committee of Planning Commission as a whole. N`?r. Leonard seconded the motiona 1?1r. 2eimer was ques- tioned concerning the portion at the rear owned b,y the Clarkins people9 but not to be rezoned.
