Bross, 5171 Vhitethorn were present <br />to question the plans, the rezoning, access into ?,hitethorn, <br />limited -?aidt=l of "-hitethorn, the traf?ic problem, etco T'Ir. <br />Mr. hansbur.y showed for review plans of the Biskind property. <br />v?r. Sayler, representing the developex, has said that the ac- <br />cess road to the proposed development will co nnect with Club- <br />si.de Dri-re. Mr. Leonard moved to table the development until <br />a joint road, a eommon consent venture, ca nbe shown. Pir. <br />Richards seconded the motiona The motion passed unanimously. <br />V. New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a ) Ojlarkirs Rez.ning <br />P'ir, Paul Weimer, Sec.-Attorne.y9 iAr. Carl Har-ttarl Engineer <br />and Mr. Joseph Clancy; arch itect, presented plans for a dis- <br />count store betv,,een 25984 and 26100 Lorain Rd. Their request <br />is for extending general retail business zoning from 500 ft <br />to 890 f'te varyino to 1210 ft. for a width of 8L0 ft. Engineer- <br />ing regarding drainage has been studied. There will be 11 to <br />12 small service t,ype stores plus supermarket9 buffer zones <br />of 45-50 ft. on both sides protecting residents; boulevard en- <br />trance from I,orain Rd.9 large sign to be requested for median <br />strip9 cost to be <n2.,500,000. N'?r. Ledvina moved that the pro- <br />posal be placed into a committee of Planning Commission as a <br />whole. N`?r. Leonard seconded the motiona 1?1r. 2eimer was ques- <br />tioned concerning the portion at the rear owned b,y the Clarkins <br />people9 but not to be rezoned.
