CITY OF VORTH OIiSTEDy OHIO <br />PLAIVNING COMPaSSION <br />July 11, 1972 <br />I. Roll Call <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 8:00 p.m. Those <br />present taere Messrs. Davis9 Donald Ledvina9 Secretary, Robert Elliott, <br />James Leonard, and Kurt Richards. <br />Also presenta Mr. Ernest Gundy, <br />bury9 Assistant to City Lngineer <br />Secretary. Counci7men John ??:'est <br />tendance. <br />Building Commissioner, Mr. Dave Rans- <br />and Mrs. Virginia Hodgins9 Recording <br />and i"illiam Geisser were also in at- <br />II. Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr. Ledvina moved and Mr. Elliott seconded the motion to approve June <br />271 1972 minutes as presented. Motion passed. <br />III. Building Department Requests <br />(a) ?4r. Gundy presented plans for a commercial development to be <br />119950 square feet next lot west of V1 l?orth O1.msted 1'*ire Sta- <br />tion in accordance with Ord. 62-33 Section 1212.02 Par. P. The <br />easterly 200 feet to be building area with 60 parking spaces re-- <br />quired and 62 proposed. John Knox Church is located on the other <br />side of the proposed development. Planning Commission members <br />found there is no loading dock9 tne driveway does not conform; <br />there is not enough parking9 and the building on the drawing is <br />not to scale. Plan was withdrawn and will be resubmitted July 25. <br />(b) Carrousel School - Gerber Childrens Center represented by Ken <br />Bomning who gave review of planso The builder wi11 remove two <br />parking spaces; wi.ll install c.yclone fence with sufficient trees <br />and shrubs. Qa.estions from nei?-hbors ensued. Questions co ncern- <br />ed building higher fence, water detention basin, what will be the <br />use of the remaining lot next door and hours the school will be <br />in operation. It vas suggested that a revised plan slawing <br />fence and buffer be submitted. The rlan was -withdrawn. <br />TV. OId 3usiness <br />(a) C. E. I. Transmission - Mr. Hayes) Mr, Schauffer and Mr. Du Bay <br />from C. E. I. gave detailed presentation of location and plans. <br />The proposal has been presented to Council aild to Board of Zon- <br />ing Appeals for special use permit (1133.09) which was granted <br />with three requirementso A neighbor, Henry iniilms, 6140 Colum'aia <br />Rd. said he and other5, whom he represented, do not object. lqr. <br />Ledvina moved to accept proposal as presented lith 12 ft. wal1. <br />Mr. Elliott seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
