Mr. Svoboda will not be present the second <br />iuesciay in April, April 109 1973. <br />X. Adjournment <br />Mr. Brewer moved to excuse the absence of PJir. Ledvina, seconded b5 <br />NIr, rlliott and passed. <br />Planning Commission adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />At this time Nlayor Christman and others came from joint meetir.g <br />of Ccuncil as Committee and Recreation Commissiono <br />PZayor Christman made a brief summarization for Planning Commis- <br />sicn members of what had transpired at above meeting. - Twelve <br />items of feasibility stud,y for ice rink and pool had been con- <br />sidered. ihese included swimming and skating program, building <br />program, dimensions of build.ing, etc.9 site location, site stud- <br />ies, buildirg design, structure9 refrigeration, electricit,y, cost <br />anaZysis, project cost and ti.me schedules. Cost to be ''1?500. for <br />above study. Additional financial study of income, operation, ro- <br />tiremen+ of debt, etc, to cost 5,1200. or total of `.5700. Deter- <br />mination as +o whether or not to go into rink site location would <br />be separate at ?i':24. per hour. Recreation Commission and Council <br />aaproved the plan. Council will authcrize with legislation at its <br />next meetir.g to go ahead with p.lan. Poll of Planning Commission <br />? members was taken and it was found they approve the plan; endorse <br />the concept. <br />Mr. Prokasy expl.air:ed membership of R.ecreation Commission. Plar,- <br />ning Commission and Cci:ncil kill be informed of ineetings of re- <br />creatior. Commission with the architect.
