Davis questioned when to meet and what Planning Commission <br />members think of the plan. Item by item needs to be discussed. <br />ls. Svoboda gave summarization of Community Facilities Plan.62,000 <br />is now base for popu7.ationo There are detailed plans of various <br />planning areas similar to 1968 plana Alterations have been made <br />in areas 4, 6 and 9 and better projection of school populati,on. <br />The junicr high pl.,an has changed wi.th reduction from 3 to 2. One <br />senior high school will accommodate with sliaht additions. Deter- <br />mination is being made as to where second junior high should be lo- <br />cated. P1.anning Commission recommends Pine uchool for second ju- <br />nior high with additional elementarJ on another part of the proper- <br />tyo In area ? plans show elimination of Coe School and development <br />of new school to replace Coe. Area 7 shows new elementary school <br />for increased population. Other areas shota existing schools. <br />Recreation Commission has been working vith Regional Planning Com- <br />mission in relation to planning recreation. rorms are being sub- <br />mitted for federal funds. Area 6 shows addition to school and Area <br />7 also shows addition to s!:hacl; 8 shows playground areao Area <br />9 has extension near Spruce School to Stearns and buffer strip <br />formed from Stearns Rd. There are several additional playground <br />areas in relation to single family residences. <br />In summar,y of plans priorities are stated with main aspect being <br />both school and recreation. Future hospital site was also shown. <br />Ntap shows property owned b.y School Board. Comprehensive Plan was <br />shown with retail, sinFle and mixed use. Addendum #1 dated Apr. <br />19, 1973 was passed among ?lanning Commission members. Changes <br />indicated are small. Areas 4, 6 and 9 are to retain Single Family <br />Zoning on rear portion,s to enhance surrounding single family de- <br />velopments 11 other changes on addendum were reviewed. <br />X.
