Present: Mr. and Nirs. Koris and Mro Schletter. Witnesses were administered <br />the oath. RedTtiood fence is proposed; five ft. fence down both sides of lot <br />from house. Lot is 63.5 ft. wide. Iieighbor to tne rear has chain link fence <br />all around his back yard. P-lir. Koris does not plan to fence rear width of lot; <br />there is drainage ditch and then neighbor's fence. Mrs. Eian moved to grant <br />1 ft. variance to build redV:ood fence. Ns. Hamill seconded and motion passed. <br />7o Sparky DiBenedetto, 23203 Lorain i-id. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />to resubdivide Permanent Parcel 232-21-5 splittina one lot into three in "A" dis- <br />trict. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1157.01. <br />Mr. DiBenedetto and many neighbors vere present. Plan is to divide into three <br />lots with 76.34 ft. frontage, 76.34 ft. frontage and 76.33 ft. frontage for <br />Class "Al' w1i8,000 homES. 80 ft. width is required in "A" residence district. <br />1'roposed homes will be comparable to development homes. Questions were asked <br />ab-out side yard requirements and about drainage problems. There is drainage <br />problem all the year around in the area. Land for proposed houses is higher <br />than present houses. Can Pir. DiBenedetto alleviate drainage problems? Mr. <br />Speedling said every home:is now required to have catch basine Mr. Boehmer <br />will have the engineering department check the grade. -Pictures were sho'Vin <br />and there were 6 to 8 inches of water lying in area. One neighbor questioned <br />reduction of size of lots beneath the required legal sizes Figures were re- <br />quested for cost of improving drainage. A'Ire Boehmer said cit,y must see that <br />water is drained. Mrs. Eian moved to continue this case until after recommenda- <br />tion of engineering department. 1'?1r. Request to establish Putt Putt Golf Course at frontal <br />grass area of Grsat Plorthern Shopping Center along south sic.e oi Arookpark Rd. <br />Special permit required by Ordo 62-33 Sections 1133.09 and 1133.12. <br />Present: Jack Richards, Julia Brown and Gladys Zipp. Witnesses were administered <br />the oath. Location was described. This piece of propert.y is to be leased from <br />the shopping center. Low sound level was described. PvIr. Hamill moved to grant <br />variance for special permit with permission of Safety Director. irs. Eian seconded <br />and the motion passed. <br />5. Danie7_ C. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1133.09. <br />Present: Mr. Castrigano and neighbors. Witnesses were administered the oath. <br />Draving of tool shed and its Iocation viere explained. Tool shed was erected in <br />June of 1971; hearing is to conf'orm with the ordinance. Shed is 6' high and 125 <br />ft: from house. Neighbors have no objections. uhed is brown and white with <br />decorator doors. 14rrs. Eian moved to grant special permit for existing tool shed <br />witr provision that it is landscaped. Request for variance <br />1133.13 Request for oversize and oVerheight pole signe Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1225.02 (F)(height) and 1225.02E (4) oversize. <br />Present: Roger Steiner representing owner and neighbor. Witnesses were administer- <br />ed the oath. Sign, franchise, etc. Vaere explained. Sign is to be stationary, two flags on top are above legal limit. - 62 sq. ft. variance is requested for marquee <br />sign with changeable wording. Nlr.
