C'ity of North olmsted. B(3ARD OF ZOIVING APPEAIS Miautes of special meeting held May 22, 1974 Chairman Hamill called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Present: Chairman Hamill, Messrs. Roberts and Duskey. , A1so present: Building Cornissioner Gundy, I,aw Direcot Gareau, Recording Secretary Hodgitts..--1, David 0. Skinner, 5963 S. Porter Rd: Request for variance (1133013). Re- quest for front yard variance of 4.6 fto and back yard variance of 4.6 ft. for S/L 3 Deckea° Rd. Violations of Ord. 62-33 Section 1159.01 and Sect. 1163.01. Inasmuch as Cases land 2 have to do with adjoining proparties and re- quests are identical it was decided to hear thera together. 2. Horst Weber2 1376 Columbia Rd.' Westlake. Request for eariance (1133.13). Request for front yar@ variance of 4.6 ft. and back yard variance of 4.6 ft. for S/L 2 Deckex° Rd, Violations of Ord. 62-33 Sect. 1159.01 and Sect.1163.01 Present: Nir. Skinner and Mr. Weber. Witnesses were administered the oath. cases were read. Appellants now wish to claange request to 10 ft* rear yard variances in both cases. Drawings presented were in- correct, showing the 4.6 ft. requests. Legality was questioned in change o£ wording of notice. Mr. Roberts moved to continue, seconded by NIr. Duskey and passed. 30 Gary Empke, 23984 Mastiek Ra. Request for variance (1133.13)• Request for side yard variance of 2 ft. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1161.01. Present: Gary Empke and Kevin Culver. Case was read and witnesses were ad- mi.nistered the oath. Tao car garage is planned. Apron is instal- ed. Mr. Culver is neighbor and has no objection. Mr. Duskey moved to approqe 2 ft. side yard variance. Mr. Roberts seconded and mo- tion pasged. 4. Ar. Frank J. Crocco9 8419 Royal Haven Dr.' North Rogalton' 0. 44133. Re- quest for variance (1133.13). Violation of ord. 62-33 Section 1225,02 (to- tal allotted sq. ft. area for signs for store complex has been used). Present: Dr. Crocco and Mr. Brenders. Chairman Hamill read the case and the explanation - a new business needs a sign. Witnesses were administered the oath. Store planned is next door to Furniture Land. Proposed sign measurements are within size limit for area; it is to be a non-flashing sign. Mr. Roberts moved we grant vaa;a:and-e for 40 1/2 sq. %t. sign. Mr. Duskey seconded and motion gassed.
