PLANNIi1G COMMISSION lw .Sept. 10, 1974 I. Roll Call Chairman Richards called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. Present: Chairman Richards, Messrs. Davis, Brewer and Elliott, Acting Secretary. Also Presents Acting City Engineer McDermott, Building Com- missioner Gundy, Law Director Gareau and Secretary Hodgins. ZT. Review and Correction of Minutes 14r. Elliott moved to approve minutes of August 27 meeting as distributed. Mr. Davis seconded and motion past?edo III. Building Department requests (a) Old Requests (1) Mr. Gundy came before the Commission at this time to explain Firehouse West Complex is built and oc- • cupied and is in violation as foll,ows: Failure to develop according to plans; offstreet parking area is smaller than as submi.tted; blacktop instead of tree lawn and a second curb cutting not shown on plans. Pr?. Glazer, one of the owners of the com- plex was called before the Commission. He explain- ed the second driveway was added by permit obtained from Engineering Department June 7, 1974. A cowork- er of Mr. Glazer came for the permit and perhaps there was a misunderstanding on his part. Planning Com- mission is being asked to approve revised plan or de- clare developer in violation. I,aw Director Gareau pointed out the matter is jurisdictional with Plan- ning Commission and with Council. I1ir. Davis moved to not accept revised p1an. Mr. Brewer seconded the motion. A Zengthy discussion followed. Mr. E1- liott called question to reconfirm previous layout and not review the matter further. Motion passec3 unanimously. (2) Mr. Gundy explained plans for the North Olmsted Lumber Company storage shed. Size is 48 ft. x 82 ft. with no specific parking requirements. There is to be driveway between the two sheds next door to City property. Plan is in conformity. Iqr. Brewer moved ? to approve. Mr. Davis seconded and motion passed. I`T. Old Business - Na 2tems
