<br />PLANNIi1G COMMISSION <br />lw .Sept. 10, 1974 <br />I. Roll Call <br />Chairman Richards called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. <br />Present: Chairman Richards, Messrs. Davis, Brewer and Elliott, <br />Acting Secretary. <br />Also Presents Acting City Engineer McDermott, Building Com- <br />missioner Gundy, Law Director Gareau and Secretary <br />Hodgins. <br />ZT. Review and Correction of Minutes <br />14r. Elliott moved to approve minutes of August 27 meeting as <br />distributed. Mr. Davis seconded and motion past?edo <br />III. Building Department requests <br />(a) Old Requests <br />(1) Mr. Gundy came before the Commission at this time <br /> to explain Firehouse West Complex is built and oc- <br />• cupied and is in violation as foll,ows: Failure to <br /> develop according to plans; offstreet parking area <br /> is smaller than as submi.tted; blacktop instead of <br /> tree lawn and a second curb cutting not shown on <br /> plans. Pr?. Glazer, one of the owners of the com- <br /> plex was called before the Commission. He explain- <br /> ed the second driveway was added by permit obtained <br /> from Engineering Department June 7, 1974. A cowork- <br /> er of Mr. Glazer came for the permit and perhaps there <br /> was a misunderstanding on his part. Planning Com- <br /> mission is being asked to approve revised plan or de- <br /> clare developer in violation. I,aw Director Gareau <br /> pointed out the matter is jurisdictional with Plan- <br /> ning Commission and with Council. I1ir. Davis moved <br /> to not accept revised p1an. Mr. Brewer seconded <br /> the motion. A Zengthy discussion followed. Mr. E1- <br /> liott called question to reconfirm previous layout <br /> and not review the matter further. Motion passec3 <br /> unanimously. <br />(2) Mr. Gundy explained plans for the North Olmsted <br /> Lumber Company storage shed. Size is 48 ft. x 82 ft. <br /> with no specific parking requirements. There is to <br /> be driveway between the two sheds next door to City <br /> property. Plan is in conformity. Iqr. Brewer moved <br />? to approve. Mr. Davis seconded and motion passed. <br />I`T.
