Planning Commission 10-8-74 - 2 - <br />(b) New Requests - No Items <br />IV. Old Business <br />Ord. 74,128 - After some discussion and explanation by I,aw Direc- <br />tor Gareau Mrse Eian moved to delete the following "and not closer <br />than one-half mile from any other existing similar establishment" <br />in Section C Item 1 of the above ordinance. Also in Section H of <br />the Ordinance 74-128 to add paragraph 2. Mr. Elliott seconded. Mo- <br />tion passed. Recording Secretary Hodgins was instructed to write <br />Clerk of Council regarding Planning Commission action on Ord. 7!?- <br />128. <br />V. New Developments and Subdivisions. <br />(a) Sauter Resubdivision - 3 lots - Broxbourne Rd. and Guilford. <br />Mr. McDermott distributed background material and location <br />map for this subdivision. He explained there was surveyor's <br />error. Item was originally approved in April of 1972• Nr- <br />Sauter came before the Commission at this time. Plan is to <br />turn 3 lots 90 degrees so they will front on Broxbourne in- <br />stead of Guilford. There is home on parcel A. Zoning Board <br />of Appeals granted variance to allow three lots which vary <br />in size. Sewer assessment was based on total of frontage of <br />the three lots. Mr. El.liott moved to accept proposed subdi- <br />vision. Mrs. ?'?i.an seconded and motion p assed. <br />VI. Communications - No Items <br />VIIo Committee Reports <br />Mr. Prokasy reported on Recreation Center bids which have come <br />in somewhat lower than anticipated but sti11 need to be studied <br />and analyzed. He also mentioned the public meeti.ng on October <br />10 to be held in the North Olmsted Junior Hi.gh School at 8:00 p.m. <br />Councilman Vlilamosky thanked Planning Commission members for <br />prompt action on Ord, 74-128. <br />Mre Ernest asked for copy of Land Use recommendation map. He was <br />told the Engineering Department will get copies made as soon as <br />possible. <br />VIII. New Business <br />A letter to Mayor Christman was suggested by Mrs. Eian sug- <br />gesting to him there be created Board of alrchitectural Review. <br />Mrs. Eian was asked to gather more information for such a Board, <br />Mrs. Eian also mentioned question of fence behind Friendly Tce <br />? Cream Store; asked for set of guidelines for such circumstances; <br />she suggested Planning Commission members consider definitive <br />guidelines or specific feelings that could go into committee.
