The <br />coinmission can help an applicant fill out the paperwork and gather the required documentation <br />to submit. Mr. Morse said he is researching whether or not the home was a site for a beacon <br />which could have been used for postal telegrams or a radio beacon for the Cleveland Hopkins <br />airport. The owners were invited to research in the Frostville archives. Mr. Morse said it has <br />been said the home's fireplace was constructed from stones gathered from each of the 48 states. <br />They would lilce the commission's assistance in finding out who the architect of the home is and <br />who constructed the fireplace. They would also lilce to loolc into Mayor Seltzer's creation of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />Mr. Richner moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowslci, to nominate the home at 30095 Lorain <br />Road for designation of landmark status and begin researeh, which passed 7-0. <br />Butternut Historic District Survey Project <br />Ms. Wenger said the survey report is still being finalized and should be completed soon. <br />2011 Annual Report <br />The 2011 Arulual Report was distributed to and accepted by Commission members. Ms. Wenger <br />said the final report would be posted on the city website and forwarded to council. <br />Ms. Wenger said the Parker Marker that was damaged has been repaired however a new post <br />was not included.
