Butternut Historic District Survey Project <br />Ms. Wenger said she received a draft report which she will edit prior to review by the <br />commission. The consultant's submission deadlines were met and there were more then fifty <br />inventory forms completed. <br />Cemetery Proiect <br />Gary Porter said he is worlcing on a database which will include information the city has <br />pertaining to each lot and grave within the cemeteries. He is taking photos of headstones to be <br />included and adding note boxes to list additional information. All existing documents and <br />records are being scanned into the computer and will be hyperlinlced to each lot/grave. The <br />access program will have the ability to print out reports such as which lots are available, list all <br />veterans and number of interments. The cemetery still has lots/graves available for purchase. <br />He noted that while compiling the database he is also working on the genealogy of those within <br />the Butternut Cemetery for his own records. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />2011 Annual Report <br />Ms. Wenger said a few changes were made to the report including improved photos. Proposed <br />goals for 2012 and the fina12011 report were briefly discussed (see attached). The members felt that the listed topics were not ones they would be <br />interested in. The clerk was asked to proceed with processing the RC-3 forms. <br />Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Richner, to decline a-eviewing the documents listed <br />which passed 8-0. <br />Discussion ensued pertaining to the Parlcer marker that was damaged in January when struck by <br />a vehicle. Ms. Wenger said the marker is in the process of being fixed and the driver has agreed <br />to cover the damages. Mr. Thomas said all the existing historical markers should be inspected <br />and freshened up. <br />2
