Wal-Mart; 24801 Brookpark Road <br />Proposal consists of signage and the following variance is requested: a variance for one <br />additional wall sign on a building; code permits 2, applicant shows 3, Section 1163.28(a). Note: <br />BZA previously granted variances for height and square footage of signage on 10/21/2009. <br />Shawna Rudelsmith with Adams Signs was sworn in. Ms Rudelsmith said their company was <br />hired to install Walmart signs. Two wall signs are allowed by code however three signs are <br />required. Mr. Mitchell said all three signs do not exceed allowable square footage therefore the <br />building department has no objections to the request. Ms. Rudolph questioned the distance of <br />the front yard setback and Mr. Mitchell said the building setbaclc is more than 270 feet from the <br />right of way. Ms. Rudolph asked if all signs were illuminated and Ms. Rudelsmith said only the <br />Walmart and its sparlc/logo would be illuminated.
