1VIr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Bohlmann, to recommend Council grant CMS13-06
Victoria Plaza LLC of 26101 Country Club Blvd a conditional accessory use permit for
wireless telecommunications equipment subject to 1151.04(c) (2), conditioned upon:
1. Documentation from a certified specialist showing the technieal details of the microwave
antennas and their area of hazard will be provided to the satisfaction of the city engineer.
2. The proposed barriers will be affixed to the roof top to ensure they are not movable.
Motion passed 5-0.
COMMUNICATION
Desiiination of Landmarks: 4302 Porter Road
The Landmarks Commission submits its landmark designation report for the Knight-Biddulph
House located at 4302 Porter Road for review and recommendation by the Planning and Design
Coinmission.
Ms. Wenger said the commission's role is to determine whether designating the home as a landmark
follows the goals of the master plan. Councilman Schumann said the house was constructed
entirely of sandstone block which was quarried on the property and dated 1860 or earlier. The home
is an Italianate style home which is common to the time period; however, there are not many
Italianate sandstone homes left in the western reserves. The home has survived multiple attempts to
have it demolished and the current owner has spent the past ten or more years restoring the home. It
is connected to the Biddulph family which is one of the earliest families in the city. The home is not
noticeable from the roadway but has a unique stone and wrought iron fence entry. The home meets
all criteria to be landmarked and would be the second home still used as a residence in the city to
receive a plaque.
Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mso Nader, to find that designating the 4302 Porter Road
property as a North Olmsted landmark would be supported by the City's master plan, which
passed 5-0.
ADJOURNMElVT
With no further business, Don Rerko's absence was excused and the meeting adjourned at
7:25 M.
Greg al ne, Chair
?n2na Rote, Cler o Commissions
Approved
2
