OLD BUSINESS <br />Landmark Desil4nation Plaques <br />Ms. Wenger said prices were obtained to purchase the two plaques this year. Once the plaques <br />are purchased the commission can set a date for a plaque ceremony. Mr. Neville asked if the <br />lettering was raised or attached and .Ms. Wenger said they were raised with a textured <br />background. She is hoping to know exact dates of receiving the plaques by the commissions' <br />next meeting so they can set dates to plaque the homes. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />2015 City Bicentennial <br />Ms. Wenger said subcommittees have been at worlc and the next joint meeting would be held <br />September 17, 2014. The bicentennial logo was chosen and the Art Commission had flyers <br />printed to reach out to possible sponsors. She reviewed the various events that are currently in <br />the planning stages. A lciclcoff ineeting with the Cleveland Magazine has been scheduled and two <br />Landmark Commission members have received clearance to contribute content into the <br />magazine. <br />A Celebrate North Olmsted website page has been designed and is up and running. The website <br />will be used to showcase things taking place locally. She would like input for a"This Day in <br />History" section. Mr. Neville said there are plenty of facts about the area at Frostville Mr. <br />Thomas said Judy from the Metroparks could be contacted as well. Mr. Dubelko said Frostville <br />museum archives have an amazing collection of photos which could be very useful.
