CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />The Landmarks Commission (or member designee where appropriate) is required by Chapter <br />165 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances to review and determine whether to issue a <br />Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction, demolition, or other alteration of either a <br />designated Landmark or other proposal located within a designated Landmark District. <br />address: 27501 Butternut Ridge <br />Permanent Parcel Number: 235-16-021 <br />Hearing Date: October 19. 2015 <br />Pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 165 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, the <br />Landmarks Commission does hereby approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for the <br />following request: <br />Proposal is to demolish existing Thompson Home <br />Following public hearings and review under 165.09 and 165.10, based on substantial evidence <br />of record, the Commission finds and determines that the proposed front steps, pavers and <br />landscaping at 27501 Butternut Ridge Road as amended and/or agreed to October 19, 2015 is <br />approved. <br />The Certificate of Appropriateness is granted with the following conditions: <br />The Thompson house be demolished by removing it and preserving it at the Frostville <br />Museum; subject, however, that the removal be underway by April 1, 2016, and, if not <br />underway by that date, then the School District may demolish it by razing it. <br />-- <br />Landmarks ComrMsion Vice Chair Jim Morse <br />1041 <br />Date <br />rBu copy to: <br />ilding Department (w/in 5 days) 24roperty Owner (w/in 5 days) andmarks Commission <br />5200 Dover Center Road " North Olmsted, OH 44070 " 440-777-8000 * Fax 440-777-5889
