Mr. Kronz said he is a civil engineer with 37 years of construction experience. He is aware of the
tanks and he researched the history of the property and what is still there. He knows where the
remaining tanks are located and they pose no safety hazard. The area which will house his home
has never been developed prior to the development it was farmland. Mr. Humphries said there is
an empty tank in the southeast corner which is very deep and he is concerned if the land is
disturbed it could collapse the tanic. Mr. Malone said the commission addresses the request to
split and consolidate the parcels and does not review residential development issues. Mr. Kronz
said he was not aware of a metal tanlc on the property however he knows how to address it if
there is and will look further into it prior to building his home. Ms. Wenger reviewed the zoning
code and requirements for lot splits and consolidations. If a proposal meets the zoning district
requireinents, there is little basis to reject the request. The application received complies with the
zoning district requirements.
Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Ms. Nader, to approve CM514-2601 - Lot Split &
Consolidation of a 0.46 acre section of PPN 234-26-010 will be split and consolidated
with parcels identified as PPNs 234-26-008 (0.91 acre) and 234-26-011 (0.15 acre) to
form a single parcel consisting of approximately 1.5 acres. The remaining section of
PPN 234-26-010 will be 0.7365 acre and all parcels are zoned B-One Family Residence,
which passed 5-0.
COMMUNICATION
Ms. Wenger said the Go North Olmsted planning process is wrapping up and the final plan will
be presented on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers. The plan is
online. She asked commissioners to review the plan and submit comments, concerns or
corrections. Once the Master Plan is adopted it will be docketed so a work plan can be
established for impleinenting the plan. Ms. Wenger also provided an update on bicentennial
events and activities. •
ADJOURNMEN'I'
With no further business, the absence of Ralph Bohlmann was excused and meeting adjourned at
8:3 .m.
?
?----f ?.
Greg Maloi e, Chair /ponna Rote, Clerk of Commissions
/ - ,?-)- "/" -- -
?
Approved
4
