Discussion regarding water issues from neighboring property. Mr. Malone questioned the basin
design criteria on page 4 of the plans. Mr. Watkins said that the calculations in question show
that the volume is met by exceeding the requirements for the water quality set by the EPA. He
added that the bio-retention would be used to enhance water quality but the issue was the water
volume. There is already a budget issue: Discussion about location of basin or other methods of
water control such as bio-retention, permeable pavement, and underground retention basins. Mr.
Malone agreed with Mr. Schumann that the Commission is not trying to put undue burden on the
applicants, but are looking out for the best interests of the community. Mr. Watkins asked that
the case be tabled to address the concerns.
Ms. Borkowslci, 4792 Dover Center, directly north of the applicant, was concerned about water
coming onto her property since she had issues with water in her basement previously.
Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to table 16-6160; Grace Church; 4816
Dover Center, motion passed 4-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With fitrther business the meeting adjourned at 7:42 pm.
Greg Mal e, C air Nicole Rambo, Administrative Assistant
? -7 ?
